We had a very quiet and comfortable night here, the room and bathroom were clean, bed comfortable and the air con, TV and fridge worked. Clean towels, soap and free bottled water provided.

Only prob was a leak from the bath which leaked onto the bathroom floor. It wasn't a flood so we didn't report it so don't know if we could have changed rooms.

It is faded but spacious (in a similar way to many UK hotels!) and the staff were very helpful with train times, maps etc.

Good hot buffet breakfast included in the very reasonable price.

We stayed 3 nights in Ayotthaya Hotel.Room Nr 203
somebody stoled our swimmsuites from the bathroom.
We just checked it too late as we were in chiang Mai.
We called the hotel but they didnt want to do anything.
That was not nice.
We will never go back in that hotel

Just few comments otherwise I would not finish.
At our arrival the hotel did not seem as bad as it was. We were expecting a simple clean room, not a luxory suite, but wat we found was really unexpected.

The main problem is that the place was really dirty. Dirty towels on the floor along the corridor at our arrival.What they gave us for triple room they only put a roll away bed in a very small room between the two twin beds. Sheets were grey . Room as well as bathroom were very dirty.We even found a pair of DIRTY SOCkS inside one drawer. .

Reception girls were not friendly not helpful at all . According to their depliant internet was offered. We asked for internet and they seemed very surprised of this. They informed us that there was not internet service for guests. We asked where we could find an internet point ,they said at the rail station. We walked under 38° sun to the station and, of course there was No internet.
.Fortunately found there was one free room left in other hotel close by (Krunsgri River )and could move from that Ayotthaya Riverside without even trying to take a photo. We only wanted to escape from that place as soon as possible.

Rooms have some charming touches like carved-wood decor, but are definitely well past their prime. The matresses are actually box-spring foundations with mattress pads on top, and the bathrooms are even less impressive than the bedrooms. The noise from the bar (loud music) continues well past midnight, making sleep all but impossible.
