The very good thing about all club mahindra resorts are their good rooms. Best for family. Travelled in Aug, although it was raining , weather was cold but this place was nice and am telling u again, room was very clean and carefully designed. Staff was ok but was not very friendly here . This property is located on high hill and from rooms you can see entire kodai , feels so great.

I went with my family on Dec 2012. The climate was cold with fog in the day time. The temperature was 19 - 26degree.
We opted the train route. West coast expr - from calicut to Erode . Reached erode at 8: 30 am. Then after braekfast Coimbatore Nagercoil passenger came at 10: 30 am. The passenger journey was a different one with family with frequent stops. We reached Kodaikanal Road Rly station at 2:30 ( I hr late )
Pick up was arranged by the resort in a Good quality Innova. The uphill ride took 2 and half hours.
We reached at 5 pm. The check in was prompt. We could send the confirmation voucher by email.
we got two rooms 102 and 103 . first for my family and the second one for my brother.
The room was a medium sized one with nice bed , a sofa ( which can be converted to an extra bed for two) .
Room is equipped with LCD TV, DVD Player and tata sky. At a time only one connection was possible to the samsung TV. We may have to call the reception to switch between DVD player and Cable TV.
adequate hot water supply in my room. But my brother was disturbed with lack of hot water supply in the room. This problem persisted during our entire period of stay for three nights & four days. Even after repeated complaints the problem was not rectified. In the middle of December cold whether this created problems.
The resort, even though small was beautiful with nicely planned gardens & loans.
The restaurant was beautifully arranged . The food was tasty. They charge 900 for one day ( three meals) and 600 ( two meal) INR.
They have good holiday activity area with fun games. We enjoyed it.
They also arranged a toyota etios for local sight seeing for reasonable price.

Room Tip: The completely wooden rooms located separately as Cottages is better. We stayed their two years back...

A pvt stay at the Coakers villa. was simply wonderful. nice cozy rooms, some with fireplace and a commanding view of the valley. Club mahindra did not mention this place but , we made bookings them by ourself. A very cozy place for family as well as honeymooners and very conveniently located.right next to Coakers walk. The restaurant served great food. Service was impeccable. we spent a lot of time at the lawns overlooking the valley. A small villa converted into a hotel , simply great.

One of the trips and stay that will be memorable forever as this is my first trip after marriage. We stayed in Club mahinda, Coakers Villa for 3 nights. Really felt homely environment with sophisticated infrastructure. Especially, the suite room that we reserved will remain special for us all the time

I had a short vacation at this converted English villa, which is just located off the Coaker's walk. It's a small property with 8 rooms, with the valley view. The property has been done up to the best possible extend by Club Mahindra with a good kitchen, dining hall, children's play area and a few cozy places to sit and enjoy the valley view.
The choice of food is Alacarte / package with option of only breakfast (BF), BF & Lunch, BF and dinner and all three times. I rate the food as excellent and preferred to be back at the resort as I didn't feel too comfortable at the few restaurants I had visited. The resort staff are co-operative and did their best to make us feel at home.
This property is usually for Zest Members, but during lean season, it's also offered to non-members.

I cannot forget my honeymoon at Kodai for my whole life. This was like being in heaven for three days. The apartment and the food was awesome. Especially, the walkable location from Coaker's Walk was exquisite.
