4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2012

I had booked Iora Guest House online not sure how the place is.On reaching there received by the owner Mr Devendra Singh welcomed with nice tea.The place is really value for money. Its no fizz accommodation you only get a wake up call and morning tea in your room. But the rooms are very clean. Mr Devendra is Naturalist and Expert Photographer who guides you about the bird sanctuary in details. He had arranged Delicious packed lunch in the sanctuary.
This is the place to stay if your purpose to visit Bharatpur is bird watching and photography,

Room Tip: All the rooms and dinning area are clean.

If you are looking for a neat and clean place just like your home, leaving all the worries behind and concentrate on the main aspect of touring to Bharatpur that is Bird watching and Bird photography, then this is THE place! What more, the owner Mr. Devendra Singh is an accomplished Naturalist and Expert Photographer himself, to help you out if you are new to Bird Photography and he can also arrange expert guides during your visit to the park. All this and more at an unbelievably reasonable price! Homely food which wouldn't upset your stomach is also served as per your choice, not only during the night but would also be packed for you to the park or even delivered during the lunch hours in the park if feasible..I am connected to this Guest House for life, whenever I am at Bharatpur I wouldn't look any further..do you stay outside if you have a home?

Room Tip: All rooms are similar facing east, you can pick any.

I stayed at Iora Guest House during my trip to Kheoladeo National park in December 2012. I had a very pleasant stay. The rooms were new and very neat, equipped with Air-Conditioner Water Heater and Television. The food Was excellent. Rates are very very reasonable. The owner of the Guest House Mr.Devendra Singh is a very good man at heart. I went alone and i dont know the local language Spoken there. He organized everything right from rooms, Food, Local travel, Park visit and my Return journey to Agra. No wonder the whole Bharatpur is taking good about him. I Highly Recommend Iora Guest house - A very good value for money and for a comfortable stay.
I've given 5 star across all categories because i feel it deserves

had gone backpacking to Keoladeo National Park from 24th Nov to 28th Nov '12 and stayed in this lovely place. Its owned and run by a professional photographer "Devendra Singh" who understands the needs of a photographer/birder. The rooms are very clean with clean mattress, 24 hours hot water, great food and good service. Its probably the cheapest hotels(in terms of price) you would find in the whole area. Do take a look at his photos when you visit the place.
Thanks Devendra, I had a great time. Would definitely stay again at your lovely hotel when i come back in March.

Iora was a lovely place to stay, 3 of us booked for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was lovely (all cooked from scratch). The hotel is near to Keoladeo National Park, just a 5 minute walk. Which is an amazing day out. The hotel owner is a professional wildlife photographer and his pictures are amazing (ask to see them!!). The staff went out of their way to help us, by taking us to the atm and the internet. Hot water was consistent - which makes a refreshing change! The TV actually worked (unlike other places we have stayed in) and it was nice to watch a film in the evenings! Definately would recommend Iora to everyone!

True to its reputation as a budget accommodation, Iora guest house did not disappoint us, when I and my wife (senior citizens) decided to make it our home for 3 nights and 4 days in the 2nd week of Nov. 2012. We stayed in room no. 5 on the first floor, which was neat and tidy with a clean bath room. The food served was tasty and not expensive, and the owner was cordial and met our needs in providing the best rickshaw puller and guide, Mr. Birendra, who was more than handy in our visits to Bird sanctuary. The premises is well maintained and safe to stay when carrying heavy and expensive photographic gears. The owner, being a naturalist himself, knowns the needs of photo enthusiasts and bird watchers, which is an added advantage. We would certainly stay in this place during our next visit.

A very good budget hotel. Not fancy but very neat and effective. Less than five minutes from the Keoladeo National Park, this is a home away from home. The rooms are spacious, 24 hours water, and clean bed sheets and bathrooms. They cook for you if you ask them to and the food we got was amazing. Rice, dal, curries, porridge...Anything you want, they will cook. Great stuff. Also, the view from Hotel is fantastic.
