Having read about it in History books wanted to see it by myself. Its a nice place to visit. A lot of valuable information is given on the boards.

“A VISIT TO THE MARTYRS' MEMORIAL”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2013

The tale of the martyrs of Jallianwala Bagh has been recounted many times, in fact we have even studied it at school, but the impact of being there was very great. We stood on haloed ground, no doubts about it, the goose-bumps told us so. We still have and always will have a heavy heart for the men, women & children that died on that fateful Baisakhi day.

“Must visit but return with a heavy heart”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2013

I didnt take any pictures because I was depressed after recalling what happened here last century...there's a mournful silence in the campus...as if the incident happened a few months back.

“Jallianwala Bagh”

Right next to the Golden Temple must visit. Reminds one of the sacrifices made to attain freedom from the British Raj.

“insight into the history”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2013

was fairly busy, quite a few beggars outside. But was definitely an insight into what happened. Interesting to learn the history and the impact on all the lives lost.
