Visited the ground floor which is the real restaurant, the first floor is a party lounge. Be warned the ground floor serves only beer, which is such a waste. But I asked if I could get my own little bottle of whisky, to which they agreed. I had the chicken roulade starter (called the murgh surkh e angaar). Then the grilled fish with basil, mash potato and champagne cream. I didn't know that mash potato could taste so good with fish, usually associate fish with chips but this was amazing with the great sauce. Finally the sizzling brownie, which was alright except they topped it with peanuts! They should do walnuts instead!! Perhaps the best eating joint in Amritsar.
