“Deolali camp disappointed”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2012

One of my relative had hired a bungalow some years ago and had words of praise for Deolali. Frankly I found it disappointing, may be over the years the area has deteriorated as it happens with almost all places in India,

“Refresh your Lungs with Fresh Air”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2011

Very beautiful place to live away from the hussle bussle of cities like Mumbai. Revitalise your lungs with fresh air and enjoy the beautiful gardens and well kept environment by the Cantonment. Deolali has the highest number of Sanatoriums for all communities. This is the place where Dilip Kumar's parents first arrived from Peshawar and his brother's family reside there. The place to be visited are Lahvit market for very trendy clothings and other items. Khanderao (Temple Hill) is one of the attractions not to be missed. Nice bunglows at Hill Range area. The Sunday market is worth visiting for fresh fruits and vegetables.

“old world charm”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2011

a heavenly place away from the daily din. surrounded by hills and u can experience the immediate drop in temperature once u reach here. a very beautifuuly and aesthetically maintained military cantonment which is spic and span. the old world charm is still carefully preserved in this place. a classy golf course is maintained which also provides for a breath taking walking experience. visit to the temple hill is a must.
