“holy bath place during kumbh mela”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2014

after every 12 years maha kumbh mela is held here... but you will find around the year crowd.. on the bank of river godavari people offers pooja for their late family members & this place is famous for that...

due to lot of foot fall, water is not very clean..
local people washes their cloth in the river...so need to maintain the place..
near to ramkund there is godavari Mata temple which gets open only during kumbh mela (i.e. after every 12 years)

“Ganga Ghat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2014

In Ram kund it is believed that Lord Rama were came here for holy bath during the time of Vanavas.
It is named as kund and also known as Ganga Ghat In reality it is a Ghat of Godavari River but it has very religious importance.
Also, some people can do shard here.

Kapileshwar temple were just opp. to the Ram-kund, also visit there.

“Awesome ghat, fresh flowing water!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2014

Beautiful ghat of godavari river. The water was absolutely fresh & cold. You can take diyas and leave them to flow in the water with a wish in mind. Had a great time bathing there. They even have seperate provisions for women to change on first floor.

“Serene”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2014

We visited this holy place in the night and there was hardly any crowd.one lady was sitting there selling Diyas. We floated diyas in the water where Ram was believed to take a bath. We could not take a dip in chilly night in this sacred kunda but liked the quietness of the place.

“A must visit when in Nashik”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2014

Good things first:
1. Most popular spot in Nashik.
2. All other temples are within walking distance from here like kala ram, sita ghufa etc
3. The place is very spacious
4. Well maintained in terms of infrastructure
5. Nice small market and sellers around
6. Very calming effect overall

Not so good things:
1. Water is not clean
2. Too many beggars around
3. Rogue pandits looking to catch hold of you
