It's in nature's paradise. But how much would you like to pay for Nature? In Aug, we payed 4200 for day (including breakfast) for standard cottage (which has a average size room and private terrace). This is good value for money (compared to thekkady 2250 per night incl breakfast) provided it's priced at max 3000 per day. No TV, A/C provided in the room (they say go green!!). Crap logic whereas TV is there in common area. It was raining, fog and cold. Provided old heater but fortunately it worked through out the night. They did provided restroom lotion packets, dental kits, shaving kits (that costs max rs 500). It's 8km from munnar town towards bracknell forest, a remote road (almost one lane) but nice waterfalls walkable and tea garden. I understand being remote there transport cost is more. Breakfast is average as well (only egg as average), no omelete (only boiled egg) but few foreigners are being served omelete upon request. Staff is good, cooperative and disciplined.
