“Beautiful view with shady rooms”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 days ago NEW

This hotel is in the low mountain.. View is beautiful from the room however if they can maintain the rooms it will be a great place to stay... We ordered for dinner and food was good however not too many options for breakfast... Not sure if the staffs understand english in the dining hall but to ask for a glass of water they took almost half an hour...and that too i asked twice , second time by walking upto a waiter... Reception staffs are good..

Overall it could have been a better stay if the rooms and bathrooms looked better... View definetly worth the money paid however rooms not worth the money paid...

Suffice to say, this was not out first choice to stay in Munnar. Unfortunately other places were all booked so we choose Copper Castle. It turned out to be one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in (out of 100s of hotels, across the world). This is primarily because of the lack of cleanliness. The room had a dank, very humid feel which made everything clammy to the touch. There was even visible mold growing in several places. We went to another property and begged them for a room to no avail. At least there was one positive - it kept us out of the room and active!

Good staff at the reception but bad service . I asked for wifi and they asked me to connect to the free wifi which was not working and the others were provided a password for the wifi ...

The hotel overall was not great since it's a v old hotel and the rooms were just normal . Toilets were bad and the hot water supply was extremely bad .. The food right throughout was the same for the breakfast .

Amazing Location, the rooms were very clean and quite large with twin terrace which is very rare to find in other hotels. The staff were very helpful, knowledgeable and more than happy to help us. The breakfast selection was great with loads of choice, fresh and regularly replenished which is quite better than most selections I've seen in hotels of similar category. Overall it was a wonderful stay with the price value proportion being excellent and I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

Room Tip: The best would be suite rooms...amazing view and spacious.

The hotel check in was proper and quick. The service was excellent. Room is average, washroom is not very fresh.

View from the window/balcony is awesome. I really liked.

The backyard and children park is well maintained.

The location is good.

The breakfast was good.

This hotel needs upgrade. It is located at a nice valley facing location but rooms and facility are in par with other Abad resorts. Also Reception should be more welcoming and not treat guests with smile.

Room Tip: Choose higher floor Say first floor

Perched on the side of the hillside - we only stayed two nights - so didn't use the facilities a great deal . You can walk up to lovely viewpoint at sunset
Bedroom 212 had small balcony overlooking the valley. No lift so stairs to negotiate There is small garden adjacent
WE had 400 IR buffet in restaurant which has pleasant atmosphere. Not licensed .The curries weren't the best I've had though as lot of liquid. Other meals have to be taken in room.
Wifi was a little difficult to log onto
As a place to stay in the tea country it was fine.
