At first we were a bit aprehensive after reading the reviews, but decided to go ahead with staying at Bluebells. We were amazed by the airy cottages set in the cardamom plantations. We stayed for 2 nights and had a pleasant stay. There is greenery all around mostly tall green shady trees and the far off valley view.
The rooms are clean and good room rates, theres room service and complimentary breakfast...as well. It is not a huge property, but this is what you want to do in munnar...feel hidden and cosy all round !!
. The resort is somewhat a downhill climb, but once the 2 mins drive out from the resort, green carpeted tea valleys surround you everywhere.
The staff is very very nice , helpful , and always smiling
In short, Blueblells made Munnar a pleasure trip for us and that too without making holes in our pocket !!!

Dear Stancy,

Warm Greetings from Blue Bells Plantation Trails Resort, Munnar !!!

We are so happy to know that, you had enjoyed your stay at Blue Bells.

We hope that the other hotels booked by us for Thekkady and Cochin was also upto your expectation.

One thing we could not able to arrange was your stay at Gavi Forest and Jeep Safari due to the strike. Kindly be in touch with us or with Mrs. Nilam at Travel Pedia if you are planning a holiday again in Kerala, we can plan something really exotic.

With Best Regards from

Jay

We stayed in this resort for three days and now have beautiful memories with this. If you are nature lover and want to spend your vacation with peace. I'll defiantly recommend this. It has very small but excellent cafeteria where u can get good food with great service.

There is one person named "Mr. SELVAM" who serves food and take care of other requirements . He guided us all the places and he only suggested for the two plays in "purajani" and really both were awesome

We rent a bike there so faced a lil difficulty while going till main road or coming back....but the SELVAM helped us in this also.....

so overall superb experience.....:)

cons :From the main road you need to take a small steep road about 1km. There is no boards kept on the road. On the other hand there are so many small "resorts" in and around this place, so if everyone keeps a board, then also it becomes difficult to locate the one you want! The road from main road is steep and narrow, so you need to be expert to drive vehicles. Auto rickshaw's dont usually ply on this road.

2) 6-7 Km. far from munnar town

Pros:
Very Peaceful.
they will provide u the cab or auto till main road (in case if you do not have your own)

Room Tip: All rooms are good. I stayed in 201. you can ask for 1st floor also for better view.

After much research and confusion amidst so many resort options , we (me nd hubby), finally settlled down with Bluebells resort. We reached Cochin from bangalore by train at around 4am and we found our rented taxi(indigo) already waiting for us, sent by Bluebells Booking office. After 4 hrs drive we reached the resort , in munnar. To our amazement the beautiful, airy, bunglow cottages were set amidst 'Cardamom (elaichi) Plantations .The air smelled of sweet and heady cardamom with greenery all around. However, do not expect to be surrounded by tea plantations just beside or in front of your room. Its mostly tall green shady trees and the far off valley view.
But keeping in mind the amazing room rates, room service and complimentary breakfast...the deal cracks the best option in Munnar. It is not a huge property, but this is what you want to do in munnar...feel hidden and cosy all round !! Food from the menu was expensive for dinner. However lunch we always managed it outside on our way to various viewpoints. The resort is somewhat a downhill climb, adventurous but safe. But once the 2 mins drive out from the resort, green carpeted tea valleys surround you everywhere. All details we got from their website and directly call them for a booking. In short, Blueblells made Munnar a pleasure trip for us and that too without making holes in our pocket !!!

Room Tip: Ask for valley view room, higher room.

I stayed with my family for 2 days. It's an excellent stay. Liked very much. Resort is surrounded by a cardamom plants and sky height trees. You can hear nature's sound alone nothing else. Those who like to enjoy nature can stay here. You will be completely away from all modern world jinx.... It is strictly for nature lovers.
Rooms are good considering the location. Food is ok no much options. Staff also good.

When I was thinking about our honeymoon we commonly agreed for Munnar, but wanted to stay at a place which is not much explored and less commercial. After a through search on the site we found Blue Bells and decided to try. As explained to us at the time of booking we were offered a honeymoon room and for our surprise it was decorated with flowers, petals etc, kept cookies, fruits, candles and an awesome chocolate cake at room which was included in our package which we realized later. The room quality is simple but great with very good, clean and quality bed and linen. The room has a balcony which opens with extravaganza view for our eyes. Very cool climate all green around, tall trees, birds and breeze of cardamom in air from the near by cardamom plantation. This was a place we loved to be.
The staff were very helpful in offering services, food was good, we have to explain our taste buds and they will prepare accordingly.
The location is close to a valley so the road is small and narrow, there were few more small resorts and 4 home stays near by, but Blue Bells is simply great. On the other side of the valley is the famous attukal waterfalls, you can hear the sound of the steam if the eather is good. I recommend this place who wanted to try something different while staying in munnar.
