“Worth a visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2013

One can cover the tea museum, the tea factory inside, the history video and the presentation in couple of hours and is worth a visit.

“Tata tea museum”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2013

Its a small scale factory, to show visitors the process of tea making. The person who gives demo in English is most recommended. We bought Green Tea and Rose flavored green tea, which were really good.

“Must visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2013

They have a power point presentation which takes about 30 minutes explaining the history of Tea plantation at India, then you can have a complementry cup of tea with milk which is very tasty, after that I purchased tea from the Tea Outlet

“Very interesting - a must if your up in Munnar”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2013

A charming and well run little museum. Make sure you explore it all. Will take at least 1 hr to visit. We all enjoyed it, from young to old.

“could be much better”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2013

The tour could and should be much better. They don't show you around the museum well and the tea process is not explained very well. The man giving the talk about tea kept harping on about Indians not knowing much about tea and how to make good tea and how to drink tea. He kept going on about green tea and how amazing it is. He sounded patronising and was repetitive. Please replace the idiot and improve the tour as so many people visit the place to want to understand about the process of tea production.
