“Incredible, lovable place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2011

Munnar is one of the most romantic places in India and One of the best place to visit especially for couples. The town is full of greenery , tranquility and serenity.

Out of my tourist spots, ECHO POINT is one of most preferred tourist spot. There are lots of small shops. Tourists can shop small little things. Donot forget to have fresh carrots . you will get it for just 10 rupees.

Al the tourist prefers to take tonnes of pictures at ECHO POINT

“Quite Possibly the Lamest Attraction in the Area”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2011

Proof if ever it were needed that it doesn't take much to make a so-called attraction. Loads of young Indian men hollering at the tops of their voices in hope of hearing the echo that they probably won't be able to pick up because the chap next to them is to impatient to wait before he starts shouting.

The scenery across the water is pleasant but there are loads of pleasant view points round here. If you want to pick up some really tacky souvenirs (and lets be honest, who doesn't need some godly fridge magnets or a dashboard Ganesh in a glittery snow globe) it's quite fun. Lots of people selling the deplorable local 'home made chocolate' - don't buy more than a small pack, it's horrible) and a nice buzz of excitement about the place. A good place to stop for hot masala tea on your way to somewhere else but I don't suggest to drive out of your way to find it.

“it was really a nice exp.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2011

guys if u are going to Munnar, you must go to this place. as name suggest, you must shout once toward the trees. your voice will be reflected back two three times. nice windy place. you must try the coconut water available on road side. It was the best coconut water i ever had in my life. one more thing, don't buy anything from the stalls, they are not too costly but the quality work is not there.

Peaceful location with lots of trees and water. When we make sound, We can hear the echo in the other-side of the lake (Echo point :)). They have horse riding, Elephant ride near by this place. Enjoy.
