I was here with my kids and wife for two days.
As far as the stay was concerned, it was a pleasant one. The room is small but nice. The bathrooms are clean. The hotel lobby has a fresh look.
The kids playroom is small but well equipped for 5-7 kids at a time.
The room service is in a desperate need of improvement. Our orders never came before a full half hour. The requests to housekeeping fell on deaf ears, on the day of checkout, I asked for a bottle of shampoo at 8:00am but even after 2 reminders, none arrived till 10:30 when we left.
The buffet dinner timing is from 7 to 10 but give it a skip if it is already 8:30 or if you have an option of eating out.
The Spa people are the most unprofessional I have come across. Since we had two kids, me and my wife decided to go on separate days in the morning. Day one, I had scheduled for a 8 am slot but when I reached there, I was told to come back in half an hour as the staff was not there. My spa finally started at 8:40. The next day my wife went for the spa 25 minutes late because of the kids and was told that her appointment has been cancelled and "she should be more punctual in the future".
The hotel Gym is a joke with every equipment in broken condition and not even the treadmill working.
I would only recommend it to people who just want a place to stay and nothing else. Give all the other amenities a skip if you really want to enjoy your stay.
Opt for the valley view rooms. The hill view rooms are really not worth it.

Read your review with mixed feelings, Sir. At Misty Mountain we do strive for customer satisfaction so your feedback is very important for us. While we are happy that you have appreciated our rooms and location, we take serious note of your dismay with regards to room service delay. I have forwarded your message to the relevant department heads for their immediate attention. I have also discussed your dissatisfaction with spa service with Dr.Reshmi Pramod who is in charge. On investigation we find our spa records reveal that while booking was made for 8.15 am the guest reported only at 9.20 am. And since there were other guests scheduled for that slot service could not be provided. Hope you understand. Spa instructions clearly state that 15 minutes past scheduled time the guest should report the delay and reschedule/cancel appointment. The spa personal also unfortunately did not recheck with the room when guest did not turn up. Apologise for the miscommunication and sincerely regret the inconvenience caused.
