“Nice place for pleasent stay”

I stayed with my family for 2 days. It's an excellent stay. Liked very much. You can hear nature's sound alone nothing else. Those who like to enjoy nature can stay here. It is 100 % nature friendly resort.
Rooms are good considering the location. Food is Exelent . Staff also good.

Not a single good word to write about place. only location is advantage of this property. But the no direction sign to reach, only one vehicle can pass through the road .when we had visited that time their very old jeep was also not in running condition. We had to wait for 1 hr then they arranged for an auto.it was a horrible exp. More issues like dirtiness, hot water not available, cook was not available . only two helper to look after everything. Not at all Redmond for families

The lodge is nestled up against a cardamom plantation and forested area, which we discovered you can walk down into along a dirt road leading off from the resort's property (be sure to ask how to find it because the road is not at all obvious). We also liked the food - nothing super fancy, but all quite fresh and flavorful.

However, the rooms are extremely sparse and not particularly clean. The sheet on our bed had holes in it, and the room overall looked like no one had been in to dust/sweep for days before our arrival. The room was also very poorly lit - just one light bulb casting a dull yellow glow, and no bedside lantern. The bed was also not very comfortable, and there were not enough blankets - it was chilly at night and they only provided a sheet and very light blanket. The towels they provided were also stained -- clean, but with permanent stains on them that were not exactly tasteful.

Also, we stayed for 2 nights and I assumed that someone would come straighten up, make the bed, etc. between the 2 nights, but no one entered the room... which is a good thing I guess for guests who are worried about theft by hotel employees (the hotel staff all seemed very friendly and non-imposing), but for the price I would have assumed they would do more to maintain the premises for the guests.

We concur that the road to get down to the property, which others have mentioned, is extremely steep, which may be a problem for inexperienced drivers or vehicles that lack a lot of power.

Overall, the experience was not horrendous, but I would probably not come back here or particularly recommend it to others.

Suits forest environment loving bachelors :)
Location is excellent except for the road used to reach this hotel. Only one road and only one car can go at a time in this very steep road. Definitely requires a very experienced driver and a car in good condition, maybe a 4 X 4. A bunch of guys work in here and they often take a lot of time to get things straight. Food is mediocre and this place is 7 kms away from the Munnar town.

Type in Google Map search bar: 10.046951,77.053276 (you will thank me for this).

Room Tip: Converted bungalow, so looks like individual houses only.

I had 2 nights stay in the hotel with my family..

the resort location was good inside the forest, but we had below issue

1) road to the resort is so steep(90 degree)..only expert driver can drive(our tyre got punctured due to gravel on road)..our driver was good enough to make it
2) The food was ok very average and the cottage doesnt have any house keeping etc
3) no eatery near the hotel and u need to go uphill0.5 Km and go to main road
4) Hotel doesnt have any fans and rooms are not so tidy
5) They dont have any restaurant that have food ready...u need to place order and wait for 2 hrs..
6) hotel water doesn't always come

its around 6 km from main town..i recomment to stay near the KSRTC bus stand were u get more hotel of the same budget..last and final verdict..kindly stay away from this hotel

Room Tip: i recomment to stay near the KSRTC bus stand were u get more hotel of the same budget

I booked myself for two nights my kids and my wife really enjoyed. Pearl has a setting which suits total relaxing and enjoying the beauty of the surroundings. It has very nice, spacious and clean rooms. The staff is very helpful and polite the cook Manu made great food to our taste.

Room Tip: Corner room on the top floor give you a great view in the morning.
