“Not bad at all, ideal location for Shivratri Mela”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2014

After reading some of the reviews about Leo resort, I was expecting the worst. Well, I was rather pleasantly surprised. Not that this property is perfect by any means, not that everything is as clean as it should be –especially the hallways–, not that most of the restaurant staff understand English so that sometimes you think you’re on candid camera so huge is their misunderstanding, but altogether, my stay at Leo Resort was more than fair. The great plus is the quiet location out of town and a mere 45-minute walk from Shivratri Mela, which is highly convenient once the police have blocked all access roads during the event. Not a great hotel, but definitely the best choice in Junagadh!

Though the room and the toilet is passable, but the food and the general ambience it's depressing.Hygiene conditions in the restaurant and the cooking area are abominable. We were booked for two nights but checked out after one.

Room Tip: Rooms are all the same

Tried this for vegetarian food. Food was decent and moderately priced. The staff was courteous and the variety in food was ample. They need to improve the cleanliness in the premises, especially the wash rooms which have seemingly never been attended to.
I think there are nit many places to stay or eat once you are at the foothills of Girnar, so this could be an option. Just keep the expectations not too high.

Stayed here for a night in 3rd week of December, 2013.

The room I stayed in had barely any amenities. Almost everything was on the verge of break-down. No hot water and barely any room service. I am sure, I won't stay here again, until they go for a makeover.

Very bad experience indeed.

The food was decent enough. Multiple options were available on the menu. Price was reasonable too. The Khichdi we ordered for the kids was yummy. The staff was friendly too. I'm not really sure what kind of rooms they have.

Room Tip: We did not stay here, so cant help on this one.

We have been here for two nights to climb the mountain. The resort is really dirt, poor maintenance, beetles in the dining room, dogs wharfing 4 a. m.

Stay away!!!
Wifi is available only at the reception. Not high speed but fine to download email and browse.

Staff are kind, but this is not enough!

The Resort is located little bit away from the town, at the bottom of the Girnar hills and on way to uparkot. It has a big campus, good gardens, long drive way to reach the rooms from the Reception area. Good car parking facilities but the driver stay facilities is atrocious though they had claimed it to be good.having facility of swimming pool & children play area. Restaurant having testy food with moderate price. Nice place to spend short vacation with family
