“Worth the short walk”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

Our family of 8 enjoyed the excellent food and service that Loren and her staff provided for us this weekend. I forgot to ask, but the menus were printed off of a computer which suggested that they are always updating and providing new and creative dishes. We loved the mild chicken curry and my daughter said that the lamb burger was great.

“Best Restaurant in the West End”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2013

Roatan Oasis is a bit tough to find -- thank goodness! Otherwise, you'd never get a table.

Run by two cheerful expats (who learn your names by the time the main courses come), this gem is a treat. First off, they serve REAL FOOD. As in, things other than overfried shrimp and "island burgers." When we went, we tried a delicious curry and a lamb dish -- both were excellent. They have a wide selection of beers and liquors, and the entire meal is an incredible value. The atmosphere is also great, as the local expats have clearly realized this is the best place to be. Of, and although you don't feel rushed or pressured, the restaurant certainly doesn't have the service problems that afflict many other places on Roatan.

The directions can be kind of confusing. You need to walk out the main road out of West End, and at the first fork, take a right. Follow this road, past the soccer field, and it starts to turn up into a hill. The restaurant is in a house on the right side, and the entrance is around back.

“Great food and reasonable”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2013

This restaurant really was great, with 5 beers and 3 entrees it was $40. We had the indonesian beef curry, the gnocchi with pesto and the butternut squash and feta pizza were all excellent. The restaurant was kind of hard to find but our taxi driver persevered, thank goodness because it really was an awesome meal and very reasonable for anywhere, not just Roatan.

“A Fantastic Place to Eat and Drink!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2013

We had a group of 9 friends for dinner on a Wednesday night and the restaurant was already busy when we arrived.
We had booked a table and we were seated as soon as we came in by one of the owners. The ambience is special and it was a restaurant filled with many divers and locals all having a good time. The food and service is amazing. We started with some great appetizers and main dishes followed. The curries were excellent and the guests who ordered lamb burgers loved them! The kitchen is very large and there's a great long bar. The view over the hills above the West End is very nice and there was a party atmosphere throughout. Roatan Oasis is owned by Will and Loren and they are a great couple and very customer oriented. I highly recommend this restaurant and will return on my next visit to Roatan.

“Love the Fresh Foods Served”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2013

Enjoyable dining experience as the menu varies serving what is fresh, no preservatives and delicious. The bruschetta and eggplant is the best ever and prices are reasonable. Will and Loren aim to please customers!
