“Great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2013

Fast service, good food. The guy who runs the place is hard working and makes sure all is perfect. Ate there twice. Good, fresh food both times.

“Authentic tropical bar & grille!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2013 via mobile

If you're looking for a thatched roof, wooden plank floor, outdoor bar with great food & friendly service, this is your place! Wear your bathing suit & go shoeless for the real feel of this place. They are across the street from a fabulous beach with snorkeling & kayaking & even offer outdoor showers free of charge after your swim. Order the quesadillas!

“A cruise stop surprise.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

We did not expect much from this day of our cruise and it turned out to be fantastic. Had a snack at the Cafe......unbelievably good, all home-made and fresh! Warm chips and salsa. Could have brought home gallons!! Another cruiser claimed the fish taco was the best ever eaten. A little gem in the West End. And the snorkel and sea kayaking team members provided excellent service with good humor and patience. Can't wait to go back and stay a week!

Huge portions...great salsa and table side guacamole. A great view from the balcony and place to people watch.

“Best Salsa and chips I've ever eaten.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2013

We ate, chilled out, had a beer or a pepsi here a few times during our week in Roatan.
I'm not exactly a nacho connaisseur by any stretch, although it's a snack of choice.
These salsa and chips were fantastic. The salsa is fresca. It's fresh, vibrant, not overly spicy or saltly, but just beautifully flavoured. The chips are hand made, slightly thicker corn tortilla chips deep fried, served warm and perfectly salted. Honestly, A couple of Salva Vidas, or a pepsi (if you have a dive coming up) and you are set!
the Mexican food here is really tasty. The tostaditos were really great. As it was the rainy season, my dad and I had the fortune to sit out a couple of leisurely rains up on the second level.
And it was a great way to relax and watch things happen.
