We travel a lot, even with our newborn son and we stayed at the hotel after a hectic Christmas visiting family and friends and we loved the experience.
This little town is close to San Salvador, the capital, and we wanted to take a couple of days off before heading back to LA.
The rooms are big, clean, with nice crafts and expensive looking linens, with A/C and fans to cool you out.
The bathroom is a little gem. Water pressure is great, nice clean lines in the sink and good quality towels and toiletries.
A lot of work went into the details of this little hotel. The inside garden is beautifully designed, the big wooden doors, lots of windows and light, and many tasteful decorations make it really unique.
The big surpise was the food...everything we tried was delicious! (International with a touch of local), and the bar invites you to hang around and just relax and tell stories with your friends, while sipping a cold drink.
You really would think that it would have been expensive, but the prices were very reasonable. We stayed at a similar hotel in Antigua, Guatemala, and payed three times as much.
If you are lucky, the little indigo shop will be open...we got great original gifts to take back with us.
Ah! The service!!!!! Everybody was nice and friendly and tried to acccomodate us. We had a great experience.
