I have just returned from 2 weeks holiday at this hotel and had a brill time. The hotel is really nice with great facilities. We had a standard room which was quite large and nice and clean, The room has a fridge stocked with bottled water and Tea and Coffee making facilities, there is also safe which is free of charge. Our room (7329) also had a nice view of the pool and was kept spotless by our cleaner Tamer who liked to surprise us with his towel art. The aircon is really good and kept the room nice and cool.
The water park and pools are fantastic with loads of sunbeds and parasols. I would highly recomend the Night time party at the wave pool.
The food in the restaraunt was what i had expected from an all inclusive in Egypt, There is no ham, bacon or sausages but there is plenty of chicken, pasta etc,The freshly made omlettes at breakfat are a must. The menu does repeat itself each week so if you are there for two weeks is will be a bit repetative and I did find myself starting to struggle in our second week. A big thankyou to Ahmed who was really friendly and helpfull.
The staff in this hotel are great and always have a big smile and a hello. A big thankyou to Elsayed in the Lotus bar who kept me well supplied with drinks.
The beach is quite nice and can be easily reached by jumping on the little blue bus across the road in the sister hotel. Ice cream is served in the beach bar at 11am along with drinks and snacks. The snorkelling just off the jetty is great.
Although this is a really nice hotel with great staff and good facilities it does get let down by the drinks they serve. All drinks during the day are served in a plastic tumbler which I can understand as we don't want broken glass all over the place, but when they run out of these they use flimsy disposable plastic cups (the type you get in a coffee machine) which is not good. Also we found that the wine on a night time was watered down. But worst of all I found out on my last night unfortunately that they serve 2 different beers. The first is Stella (Egyption stella) which is nice and is 4.5%, the other is Luxor which is Ok but is only 1%. They predominately serve Luxor so make sure you ask for stella otherwise you will be like me and drink alcohol free beer for 2 weeks.
