First night we arrived we were looked after by a very cheeky chap, called Ayman who works on the bar upstairs. He was very friendly and warming. The beer was okay, it was light from the tap; but the beer from the bottles was too strong for me personally. Mohammed Ali who also worked upstairs with Ayman was great and very tentative, and helped to sort us a table. We had joining rooms which was good, and I couldn't fault the rooms/bathroom it overlooked the pool and restaurant. We booked on two excursions through the hotel (although its cheaper at other places) we just felt safer booking this way. I highly recommend star gazing if you fancy a bit of outback Egypt, and scuba diving for LITERALLY anyone! I'd never done it before, not even in a pool and was really scared at first, but was one of the experiences of my life! I also recommend going out with the animation team, they work really really hard especially Mesha and Matt and headed up be an always excitable Ali. My friend felt sick one night and wanted to leave the club early with her boyfriend. So, Mesha went in the taxi with them. They were so grateful as would have been frightened getting a taxi on their own. At first we thought the food was okay, but then realised it was pretty much the same every night. The chef who does the eggs and also works at the beach bar is really nice and he will go the extra mile for you. In the day if you are chilling by the adult pool look out for Elsayed and Moeman they are always smiling and so helpful. Even though it was Ramadan at the time, and must have been so hard they just kept smiling and bringing us beers (without asking!! cheeky!) One of my friends gave Moeman a designer t-shirt which he loved, but we had to sign something at reception to say we had given it to him. Soho Square was really nice, we had a Chinese at the restaurant on the end to the right and it was to die for!! The men have to wear trousers, but if you don't have any they will provide some. I did not like Naama Bay they were all just shouting and trying to get you into their venues which was draining. We did stop in one and watched a snake charmer which was pretty cruel. Just quickly, if you get a taxi just book it through the hotel for safety; also the drivers are kind and give you lots of advice. When we left the animation team and Elsayed waved us goodbye which was so sweet and made us feel so sad we were leaving. 1 week was not long enough, 10 days would have been perfect. Make sure you pop into the shop to the left of the hotel the guys who work in there are very funny and if you don't have money will let you pay next time. Everywhere takes English money so I wouldn't even bother changing any up if I was to go again. The whole holiday was lovely, all 4 of us were constantly ill with bad tummys so make sure you take imodim. Oh I forgot to mention the water slides me (24years old) and my group, absolutely loved them, laughed so much with our underwater camera got some great videos!
