“Our honeymoon made perfect.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2014

Me and Nicola married in September and decided upon the Sea Club Resort in Sharm as destination for our honeymoon.

WEATHER:
We were under no illusions that we may not have experienced the best of Egypt’s weather – how wrong we were to doubt! The weather for the time of the year was still better than England offers us! Regularly, the day time temperatures hit 30+ - the ‘coldest’ day was still early 20’s. Even in the evening, the air was warm and pleasant. At no point did we experience ANY rain whatsoever, although we’re told after we left, Cairo experienced snow for the first time in a hundred years and other parts of Egypt experienced rain – Sharm doesn't get it though!

LOCATION:
Simply brilliant! A short transfer away from the airport and sat right on the beach. As for the beach, it was immaculately clean and had an exceptional amount of loungers for those who like to relax with the sound of the sea. The views are fantastic and you can walk quite a way out into the sea and you’re only waist-deep – worth doing to experience the beautiful sea life Sharm has to offer.

HOTEL:
We stayed in Sea Club Resort on an all-inclusive basis and on the resort there are 3 hotels – Sea Club, Sea Life and Sea Garden. If you go all inclusive, you are able to use the facilities of all three, such as the pools, bars and restaurants. The pools we used in the Club and Garden resorts are immaculate and of a great size. We never had any issues in terms of getting pool-side loungers at any point through our holiday. There’s plenty to do at the hotel – there’s a gym, various pools with activities such as water aerobics, water polo and volleyball and on-site snorkeling training for those looking to do such an excursion.

FOOD:
The food was great, no issues whatsoever. There was always plenty of choice and variation each night as they hold theme nights in the main buffet restaurant – things such as Egyptian, Italian and English etc. However, if you aren't keen on the particular theme, they always have the ‘usual/normal’ food such as potatoes, rice, meat etc. Furthermore, there are other restaurants including a beach-side restaurant, Japanese and French (these you have to book and are permitted to one free booking for these). We only made use of the beach-side ‘Il Pescatore’ restaurant and it was lovely. You have a choice of which dishes you would like. The service in all of the restaurants is first-class and the waiters can’t do enough to help you and keep you topped up with beverages. In particular, look out for Taher in the main buffet restaurant in the Sea Club Resort – amusing is an understatement!

STAFF:
I’ll keep this one short – everyone from reception staff, to waiters and waitresses to the room service staff and gardeners – every single member of staff deserves an incredible amount of credit for keeping the hotel in such an amazing condition and a very high standard.

OUT OF THE HOTEL:
We didn't plan to go to do excursions but we ended up going on a quad biking afternoon in the desert. I would highly recommend this. Me and my wife went out on one buggy (shared although you can have one each if you wish). Such a thoroughly enjoyable experience – however, take your sunglasses and a headscarf; it gets a bit sandy and dusty out there. You can also go on boat trips, snorkeling in the Red Sea and other internal activities such as massages and spa treatments.

OVERALL:
10 out of ten for us – we thoroughly enjoyed it the holiday and would recommend to absolutely anyone, whether you’re a family with children or just a couple. There’s something for everyone here. Would we go back? Without a shadow of doubt!

Room Tip: We had a garden view room (3205) which had as much sea view as garden! The rooms are spacious, clean...

Went here for xmas 2013 and I have to say we were very impressed with the hotel.
Its 3 resorts all adjoining and you can use any of the facilities in the 3 resorts.
Always a good choice of food in the restaurants or you can ger burger and chips on the beach.

Hotel gardens are well tented and the whole place is spotless, the pool in our hotel is huge and we were never stuck for a sunbed.
Amgad, in the main dining room would always ensure you were seated and had drinks on your arrival.
We enjoyed the Lebanese restaurants and the service there was second to none thanks to Noshy the manager.

There is also a fish restaurant on site that is superb and service excellent, refilling your glass way before it empty.
There are a few themed restaurants there and we didn't have chance to try them all.

The waiters also come around the pool to see if you want a drink, basically you waited on hand, foot and finger, in the whole of this hotel, I couldn't find one fault.

Please note....also agree a taxi fare BEFORE you get in, it should be around £2 TO £3.00 to soho square .This hotel is about ten minutes from soho square.

Booked this a few days before I went, 25th Nov. 32 degs every day, 22 degs min. at night. After seeing other hotels whilst picking up for trips I thought I had picked the best. Right on the beach. It's three resorts adjoining, Sea Club, Sea Life and Sea Gardens. You can use all three facilities. I thought Sea Club was the best. The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke quite good English. I thought the food was good, although some was the same every day, there was plenty of other to choose from and theme nights every night. Good service in the restaurant, Sayed Mahmoud was a very good waiter. Reda and Gamal were excellent barmen at the Baracoda Bar and the Lobby Bar. Main bars were open 24 hours. Really nice grounds with lovely green well-kept gardens, with gardeners always busy. Good snorkelling off the jetty. Room cleaner was excellent. One of the best hotels I have stayed at.

Room Tip: I had a room titled garden view but I could see the sea to the left as well. Try and get one adjoini...

We stayed at the Sea Club resort for 4 weeks in November & had a fantastic time. The hotel is part of a 3 hotel complex, which includes the Sea Life & Sea Garden Hotels. You can use the facilities (swimming pools, bars & buffet restaurants) at all the hotels.
The Sea Club is the busiest of the hotels, Sea Life slightly quieter & Sea Gardens the quietest. Though all have some entertainment on every evening e.g. live singers etc..& these were very good. Shows are also on nightly, though we didn’t really see these.
The pool area at Sea Gardens is kept immaculate by Eslam, the Lifeguard / towel man, he is a real character & works very hard to maintain a high standard.
The restaurant at Sea Club is very busy but has a huge choice of food & there is something for everyone. The Sea Life restaurant is large too, though never seemed quite as busy & also has a large choice, at Sea Garden the restaurant is smaller with a more limited selection but the staff are extremely friendly & helpful & will always cook you a meal of your choice, also look out for Karam, a lovely cheeky chap, who is always smiling. The Egyptian themed night at Sea Garden is well worth a visit.
The Bar staff are very attentive, especially Achmed (Sea Club & Manmoud (Sea Garden) both remember your drinks & are very nice & friendly guys.
There are 3 themed restaurants; Italian, Japanese & Lebanese, the last 2 were our favourites, the food in both is lovely & the staff are great, the ‘show’ in the Japanese is brilliant, though if you are only there for a week you do need to book in as early as you can because it is very popular.
We had a Sea View room & it was lovely to watch the sun rise over Tiran Island, the room was very spacious & kept very clean.
We took a taxi to both ‘Soho Square’ & The Three Crowns in Nabq, both cost around £14 for a return trip. Soho Square is a hassle free area with bars, shops & restaurants & we would definitely recommend a visit to the Ice Bar & the Bombay Indian restaurant. The Three Crowns, is owned by an English family & shows lots of sport & also do a fantastic filet steak for around £9, so well worth a visit too.
Laura (Guest Relations) & Mr Shehata made our stay one of the best holidays we have had & we will certainly be visiting again.

Thank you for choosing to spend your vacation with us in Sea Group Resorts, it was a pleasure to read such a detailed and positive review.

Your glowing comments regarding the service from staff members throughout the resort, and the huge food variety across the Restaurants are greatly appreciated. We are delighted to know you made great use of the three hotels during your four week stay and found all were enjoyable. We've now included the French Restaurant into the package and hope you will sample that during your next stay.

Check in--very quick,,told us to go for a meal and when we returned to the room our cases were waiting for us
Room---we had a pool view, side sea view on the 2nd floor room 5206 and it could not be faulted massive room,,,massive shower,,nice balcony,,the TV had 4 English film channels and a sport channel with all the premier league games.
Restaurant--Greeted at every meal by a lovely young Egyptian lady very polite.
Breakfast--cereals,yoghurt,,fruit,eggs and more continental stuff.
Lunch,,Buffet with chicken, fish, beef and many more items,,ALSO snacks at the pool bar or snacks at the Italian restaurant.
Dinner--Again buffet food with a different theme every night,,,also 4 restaurants you can book ,French,,Italian,Japanese or Lebanese ,,,so many choices but if you can't find anything you like the chefs are more than happy to cook for you anything you want.
Staff--the staff are exemplary all over the hotel couldn't be better.
Drink--excellent range of spirits,,I drink gin and it was the proper stuff and other people were happy enough especially the Russians who take full advantage of the 24 hours and you might see a few staggering but they're no bother.
Pool area--Very big and you will always find a bed which are nice and comfortable ,,My only gripe was it could of been cleaner but after mentioning this to the general manager they were always trying their best.
Beach--good beach area with a long Jerry if you would like to try snorkelling which is great.
Entertainment and animation--The entertainment does let the hotel down,,some nights they had a singer on who finishes at 9-30pm now we didn't eat till 8-30pm so by the time we got upstairs to the bar she was finished,,,the animation team are all Russian so needless to say if yr English you can relax by the pool because they don't bother you.
Sales team--By the sales team I mean the people who try to sell yo beauty treatment all day,bit irritating but if you tell them politely they will leave you alone.
The management have a weekly cocktail party more for the English where they like to pick your brains,,this is a great idea and believe me they act on everything that is said.
I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend this hotel to anyone.
Their is building work that is going on next door but this doesn't bother you.
a good fitness suite that is free to use

Room Tip: Ask for a pool or sea view

Hi we had a great week at the sea club, hotel was very clean and the room we were in was a good size. it was a garden view but very nice and quite. we were in block B6 second floor.
All staff were very good and helpful, Mohammad in the lobby bar looked after us very well, also down at the pool bar emid (I think that's how you spell it) he was very good and friendly. Food was good buffet style but something there for everybody and the 3 Alacart restuarants were good which gave you a good choice overall. Staff in the spa were really good we had 3 good treatments. I am sure we will return to this hotel again. Great week and Great weather.

Room Tip: Block B6 higher floor good but did not get the sun. But really quite and not far from the pool.

From the moment I arrived I couldn't fault the level of sevice I received. Reception was always helpful and friendly. The room 2128, ground floor with a slight sea view, a bonus was kept immaculate with a different towel creation each day.
The Sea Club is 1 of 3 hotels with in the Sea Group Resort, (Sea Life & Sea Gardens), which you are free to wander & use all the facilities during your stay.
The beach location is great with easy access to the sea. The water around the coral is so clear so a snorkal is not always necessary to see the fish.
At the restaurant, I was always greeted with a nice smile & hello, followed by very attentative restaurant staff at my table. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The selection of food available is varied, with a different theme each evening, catering for all tastes. Food was always hot. The specialality restaurants are well worth the visit.
The Thomson rep, Ash was great & always on hand should you need him.
A well relaxing holiday, thanks to you all - will be visiting again soon
