“Best Holiday”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2009

All I can say is don’t take any notice of the bad reviews. I had the best time ever. Positive feedbacks:

The location and the view is beautiful
Staffs are very friendly and funny
The rooms are very clean; they clean the rooms’ everyday up to your satisfaction
The beach is amazing and the lifeguards are so friendly
You get free diving and snorcheling lessons, which is pretty cool
The swimming pools are so big, the jungle pool is amazing; it is fun and exciting (also they clean the pool every night)
My room was big and spacious and it was cool; you have individual control of the air/con
Don’t worry about the sun beds, me and my friend use to wake up at 10am and still manage to find sun beds. Some people are to fussy, so please ignore the bad reviews.

I am definitely going back to hauza beach resort. I had the best time ever.
The only downside are the Russians, they are very rude and snobby...

me and my girlfreind returned from the hauza on the 2nd of july,i would firstly like to say what a great place sharm is,the corral life is another world, off the jetty there is a huge fish(nopolian)and if you feed it boiled eggs it comes right up to you and takes it out your hand, allso other very coulerfull and amazeing fish to see,the food at the hauza is abit boring but there is a pasta corner were the chef will make you fresh pasta,or go the beach bar were the mad chef will make you fresh pizza(very nice)tip him and when ever you go past he will ask if you want one evan if there is a quew, the beer is served in little plastic cups, but ask for a bigger one and they will sort ti,i drank ouzo and lemo that is better than the beer as it is week, please remember to drink lots of water(not tap water tho as it will make you unwell)due to it being so hot some people were dehidrateing badly!!! the beach is nice and if you throw a bit of bread in the shallow water the fish will swarm round you,the slides are great, the white one is verry fast, the zoo isnt there anymore but its no big deal, now then if you go to naama bay be preperd to be hassled as me and my girlfriend didnt feel to safe there,so i would stick to the main strip,we went in the hard rock cafe witch was expensive but good fun, dont pay anymore than 60 egp to get there or get back, you must haggle and agree a price before you sit off, allso you must try the desert qwad bikeing it was ace,and try go on one of the boat trips the reps offer, dont do it with medo hes a con man......dont be worried though there are plenty of them to sort trips out with try edel!,just one more thing...me and my girlfreind have had very bad tummys since we have been back,we have both been off work and my girlfreind is sighned off work for some time,as i run a small buissness i have to work so be preperd to take some time off when you return, but you may be ok as im sure this will not happen to everyone!apart from that its an experiance not to miss!!

well... where do i begin
my rating would be 5/10

First impressions as you pull up to the hotel nice and big clean behind the reception you will find all of the appartments pool areas resteraunts and a builing site. And what we thought was a sewage farm but turns out it was the flamingo pond and stream that runs to the indian resteraunt.

Rooms- very spacious cleaned every day we were in block 18 which mohammed cleans very friendly guy. Beds were hard as hell however our neighbours beds were very soft ??

Resteraunt - we only really enjoyed breakfast toast and fried eggs or an omlette and donuts nice strong coffee as well. other times we found the food very repetative and all we ate was rice with the occasional meat.

Zoo - non existant
Disco - Non existant
Entertainment - ok they do try

Pool Bar - open serves nice cheese pizzas at a fair price, coke is mainly warm juice is warm beer and lemoade is the coldest drinks there they serve food at dinner time there are nice chips. The pool bar is where every one sits at night near the entertainment theatre

Swim up pool bar - is sitting there and no one runs it (gutted)

Dive centre on site- good trips!! we went on a boat trip that took us to the ship wreckage to snorkell and dive your out from 8am til 5pm long day but well worth it make sure you have your sea legs as a few people were sick. your rep may tell you that they didnt pass the safety check but we believed they were very good.

Money - the egyptians actually prefer to use pounds, euros or dollars strange i know but they always give you a price in english first.

The jungle pool - looks amazing and is but there is no bar close by for drinks unless you walk downhill to the beach or up hill to the pool bar very tiring unless your fit.

The hotel is very picky as well. Allot of families were getting henna tattoos from the stall and next thing you know they were getting a bill from the hotel for the sheets. However be carefull as some of the sheets already have marks on them and they tried to charge a family for 3 sheets when non of them had any henna.

We managed to get the number for mcdonalds delivery and KFC which was nice they meet you outside the hotel gates. Or if you fancy a night out if you head down the road to the right when leaving the hotel 5 minute taxi ride youll find metro super market thats sells fruit barnded food cereals the whole caboodle. Burger king is down there also and allot of shops.

Tabacco - If your planning on buying ciggys be aware they do have fakes and they avoid opening the carton for you to try one. The guy in the supermarket across from your hotel will do a reasonable price. The fake ciggys have yellow stains on them. The real ones tend to have the smoking effects pictures on the boxes.

TGI fridays in nama bay is a must amazing food. We also went to the old market its not what i was expecting is just loads of shops and you get harrassed every where.

THis is the second time i have been to egypt. last time i stopped 2 minutes away from this hotel in the 3 corners palmyra it a less star and it was allot better

i will not be returning to egypt after this experience

Hope your holiday is allot better than ours

I travelled with my niece on the 27th June-5th July 09. When we read the reviews we were a little worried, but it was the best holiday we have had. The hotel is very big and clean with friendly staff that are very helpful. Being a vegetarian there was a large selection of food/desserts for us to eat. The chef looked after us by making special veg dishes. The animation team in the hotel were brilliant, and it was even safe to travel outside. Don't see how the resort can get a bad review as you get what you pay for. We really enjoyed the surroundings within the resort with a wonderful pool slide and fresh pizza making huts on the beach. I would certainly recommend this hotel to everyone, don't think twice just book it.

I should have listen to the reviews before booking this hotel but because we are a very open minded people we thought we'll go, after arriving at the hotel everything seems nice, we went in our room which was very basic and definately not 5* more like 3* but i didnt mind, the first night was fine, the second night we went to the restaurant the food we were eating was off so we called the manager to smell the food, he put some of the food in his mouth and said its fine, we told him to smell it and he did but without saying anything to us he just walked away, the 3rd day i was sick with food poison, we had to call a doctor and they had to put me on a drip and the medical cost a fortune as well, next day my husband was ill with stomach bug as well, after that day we started eating out instead and we we fine, the hotel waiter wasn't very nice, I've been to Egypt before and this is the worst holiday and some people were actually checking out earlier to go to another hotel and i don't blame them, if u have already booked to go to this hotel before have a travel insurance and make sure u check all the food before u eat it and be careful if ur taking young children as well, never again

we just got back yesterday 3rd july from staying at the hauza, myself, husband and children ages 8yrs, 11yrs and 13yrs, we stayed one week! on reading the reviews before hand i really had doubts but i think people are too picky! the location is ideal if you have children because although it is very hot there is a breeze which really helps as in naama bay there is no breeze and it is alot hotter and more humid( top tip take the spray cans of water, eg magi cool, a must if you have kids with you!) the hotel itself has a great choice of pools for the kids , if you tip the lifeguards and give them a towel card they will save you a great place near the pool each day and walking down to the beach was great, the views are really nice! the food however is very boring and repetative, they never seem to change the menu except on a thursday, when its arabic dishes and sweets! the pizza on the beach is nice! take some diocalm ultra, as we have been to sharm 3 x and you cant escape a loose tummy! dont drink tap water and wash teeth with bottled! the entertainment was very boring so we didn't bother, mainly in russian and italian and boring bingo! i cant think of anything else but feel free to ask if you want to know more!
