5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2013

just returned from the jaz mirabel club, can honestly say what a great hotel! the staff are superb especially the waiting staff in the restaurant, after coming down with a cold they were great at making me honey and lemon drinks to help ease things, these people could not do enough for us at all meal times, a special mention to mina magdy also who worked in the sunrise bar! what a lovely man helpful polite funny excellent service from him. The hotel its self is lovely too, rooms were well kept and clean the grounds are lovely. food choice was good as at least something for everyone. the beach is about ten mins way and your all inclusive still applies there for drinks which is great, shopping here in sharm is an experience, great bargains but haggle is the word but be firm with them about prices. Overall would recommend this hotel to people my only disappointment slightly was the evening entertainment but its the same at other hotels so we were told, also as I am an early riser I would have liked to have tea an coffee facilities already supplied in the room but reception gave us a kettle to use when asked and was supplied with it within ten mins of asking for one which was excellent. Excursion choices were great and reasonably priced too, Would I go back to this hotel again, most definetely yes I would, stayed here for ten days and it was great.

Room Tip: all rooms in the club hotel appear to be facing the pool, but if a siesta is needed in the afternoon...

We have just returned from our first holiday to Egypt and Sharm El Sheikh, and were very pleased with our choice of hotel, the Jaz Mirabel Club.

The resort itself is clean and gardens beautifully maintained. Although there are the Park and Beach areas on the resort, we were more than happy with the accommodation in the Club area, and as all the facilities are available (all inc.) with the exception of the Beach lobby bar and restaurant, we were never short of choice for pools and snack bars. The beach itself only a 10 minute, pleasant walk through the resort.

Over 7 days we found that the breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets at the Flooka restaurant had a wide selection of nice foods and we were never short of finding something to suit - I am a fairly fussy eater and never once went hungry. Our waiter Mahmoud was always cheerful and attentive.

Our room cleaner Ramen always checked we were happy with his service, and left towel designs/animals each morning which was something that always made us smile and was a nice touch.

Most of the staff are very helpful and friendly, though we noticed you do get slightly better attention if you pay a small tip. The animation team do a great job providing entertainment every night and talk to you about any sporting activities (free of charge) you wish to do whilst staying. Toty was really friendly and entertained us with his card tricks.

The only minor niggles, not worthy of down rating the hotel are that poolside tiles are slippery under foot when you're feet are wet, so caution should be taken to avoid accident, and the 'touts' who are trying to sell tours recognise new arrivals and can be a bit irritating - we just told them we had already booked elsewhere and weren't interested, or pretended to be sleeping and they left us alone after the first couple of days.

We did book massage and pedicure but negotiated down the prices, and although they were nice, I've had a better pedicure at home for the money, so I wouldn't book these services again.

Shopping everywhere is an experience (except in the 'supermarkets', where they let you browse) - you're enticed in to sit down, have a chat and some tea, but if you do not wish to buy something, stand firm. We purposely went looking without money, though this does not necessarily protect you as they are keen for you to agree to take something and pay later. We just said no, we would come back at the end of our trip if we wanted to buy.

Overall it was a very nice stay and we would happily book there again if we go back to Sharm.

Another short, but very sweet stay at this wonderful complex, which seems to get better everytime. So, as you may have guessed, a few days in February to escape the cold and dreary wasn't my first visit here, and it won't be my last....
Greeted to a wonderful welcome at reception, speedy check in, welcome drink and promptly shown to our room, shown how to use the safe etc etc, all within 15 mins of arrival. Room was as every, clean, bright and spacious, overlooking the pool, as all rooms here do.
We took breakfast and lunch in Flooka, where I saw big improvements in the service etc, not that the service was bad on previous visits. The waiters in there were superb, refilling glasses, carrying things to the table etc, just generally providing a superb level of service. Love the introduction of the ice cream freezer, and special mention to Adam, who has a constant smile on his face, that really is infectious!! As always, the Chefs did a superb job and were always on hand to answer any questions. Each night in Flooka has a different theme so here is a good variety and the food is always hot and being refilled constantly. We tended to take lunch at the Oasis pool bar, fresh pizzas, burgers etc.....Mohammed the Chef at Oasis makes the best pizzas and nothing is too much trouble for him, which is great to see. The pool bar was clean, the staff are very helpful, accommodating and really do look after you, as well as creating a great fun atmosphere at the same time, especially Beman and Shitos.
The pool areas are meticulously clean, the pool guys are more than happy to help with anything, even carrying your towels to your sunbeds, of which there are plenty available throughout the day.
We spent our evenings in the terrace bar where there is usually some kind of entertainment on, may not be the greatest you have seen, but they try, and they have a pretty talented entertainment team, so it's good to see them being utilised, dancing etc. They strike a good balance, they try to involve you, but aren't pushy at all.
The bar staff in the evenings generally serve you at your table, so no need to queue at the bar. They work extremely hard to look after everyone, especially George, who never stops, but still manages a permanent smile!!!
All in all, this is a great resort. Apart from the facilities, the staff are its greatest asset. You will never fail to not feel completely comfortable and welcome here. The management appear to act upon feedback given by guests to continually improve, and should be congratulated.
If you have any hesitations, don't, it really is well worth a visit or 2 :)))

We had an amazing holiday here for 10 nights, great welcoming atmosphere. The staff couldn't do enough for you. The rooms are slightly outdated but nothing wrong with that, still very clean, along with the rest of the complex. The food is really good, great selection for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Will be returning.

Just back from 2 weeks at this fantastic hotel. We arrived about 4.30 in the afternoon and had a very quick check in. Our cases were taken to our room by the bellboy who showed us how to use the safe (which is free). Our room was lovely and big with a 2nd area near the patio doors with 2 day beds. The bathroon was huge with a lovely walk in shower. Always plenty hot water and lovely big bath towels which were changed every day. Our room was kept immaculate by Remoon and he left some beautiful towel arrangements on the beds. We had a swan, a dog, a crocodile a heart and also flowers in our room every day. Many thanks to Remoon.
The food here was excellent with so much to choose from. When I read some of the reports before we went I was a bit apprehensive as the food is a big part of your holiday. The breakfasts were really good with eggs any way you want them, loads of cereals, cheeses, ham , salads, yoghurts, fruit etc. Lunches were also good with 2 soups every day, loads of lovely bread and rolls, a lovely salad bar, and plenty hot dishes to choose from. And ofcourse the desserts were to die for and there was also always loads of fresh fruit. However the best meal of the day for us was the evening meal. Every night there was a carvery - we had duck, salmon. lamb, beef wellington, turkey, roast beef and veal. There was a pasta area cooked to order whatever you wanted, a grill area where every night was different e.g. steak, kofta, chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs. etc. a curry corner, a salad bar, beautiful cold meats and cheeses, and about 8 hot dishes every night. Over the two weeks we had shepherds pie, chicken curry, beef pie, chicken milanese lasagne, chicken cordon bleu, lancashire hot pot, beef stroganoff, tandoori chicken, macaroni cheese, I could go on and on. Also at night the fruit and desserts were plentiful. Who could complain about such a range of options? There was wine, beer and soft drinks available in the restaurant and once the waiters got to know your drinks they were there on the table before you got back with your meal. Tea and coffee was also available at all meals. The waiters were all excellent and really looked after you especially if you gave them a tip every few days. We tended to give 20 egyptian pounds (£2 our money) to the waiters and the bar staff. It really pays off and they look after you so well. Our room boy we gave a bit more as he did such an excellent job. The restaurant runs so smoothly and I think Mohamed (there are loads of Mohameds) seems to be in charge of all the waiters. He does and excellent job and is very attentive. Thank you Mohamed and all your staff.
The bar staff are equally excellent and are waiting to fill your glass as soon as it is empty. Our main waiter was called Hamed and he worked very hard to keep the guests happy. There was often live music on in the evenings and dancing as well which made a nice atmosphere.
I must mention another Mohammed. He was in charge of the pool area and the towels. He also looked after us really well and put towels on our sunbeds every morning. He kept the area so clean and was always going round talking to people. He told us he had been a body builder and had won several championships over the years.
Lastly I would like to thank Heitan who looked after the snack bar and looked after us so well. They all work so hard and such long hours for not very much money and they really do rely on tips to make up their pay.
I can thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of going there. Do not take any notice of the "bad" reports. We had a wonderful holiday and will definitely be going back.
Sameh who works in reception was extremely helpful to us, often changing notes for us so we had smaller denominations to give for tips. He told us to get in touch with him when we go back and if we had any specific requests he would try to get them for us. Thank you Sameh.
We look forward to our next holiday at this hotel.

Room Tip: Our room was in Block K and didn't get much sun. Next time we go we will ask for a room in bloc...
