The effort was there, but the results were completely disappointing. The friendly manager dropped by to chat in perfect English, and it turns out he managed a couple of chain restaurants near where my brother and I grew up in Texas, so we were primed to enjoy the dinner. Unfortunately, my trout with shrimp entrée was smothered in stringy cheese that overwhelmed everything. As much as I'd like to recommend this restaurant -- which probably relies on captive customers from the hotel's guests -- it was a culinary disaster.
