“Beautiful bird park”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2013

Times changed compared to brochure. Afternoon show starts at 1530 not 1630 as advertised. Aviaries are great. Good selection of birds. Quiet and tranquil. Owner came out to feed the condors so they would come out of the cage.

“Amazing birds”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2013

While you hate to see these large birds caged, remember they are all rescue birds and wouldn't be alive without the Condor Park. Be sure to be there for the live shows (there is one at 3:30 and maybe others that I don't know). Watching the American Bald Eagle soar through the area is truly breathtaking.

“Quality Rescue Center with a View”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2013

If you have been to a bird rescue center before, you will see nothing new. The two condors in the enclosed area were not active when we were there, so there was nothing unique to see. The location is ideal, with great views of the surrounding area. The quality of the construction of the park is very good, and they are expanding the facilities. If you are on an all day tour or a multi-day tour, it is worth the stop if you can time it to be there during the show. We tip our hat to the park and their mission. The fee to enter was not worth the knowledge gained, in part because the sign were only in Spanish (not normal for an international tourist destination), but knowing it was providing funds for the continued improvement of the park made it OK.

“Loved it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2013

The birds are just amazing! I couldn't believe the bird show and how close the eagle came to the audience. What a beautiful bird! It takes about 1-2 hours to visit and they have a female Harpy who is just wonderful. Go for the views as well as your love for animals, you won't be disappointed.m it was 5 per person when we went in April.

“Worth It For the View and the Birds”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2013

Did not get to see the birds released as it was drizzling, but it is really worth a visit. The views of the mountains and the surrounding scenery are fantastic. Seeing a harpy eagle and a condor are also great opportunities. Yes, it is sad these birds cannot all be free, but this is a rehab and rescue center for birds. The birds have not been stolen from the wild. So it is beneficial educationally to help protect these raptors and condors by allowing the public to see them up close and appreciate their uniqueness. So glad we were able to visit!
