Trogir is a magnificent spectacle- beautiful medieval alleys, fantastic cathedral, lovely Riva on which the nightly corzo is taken....but...the loud bars on the bridge end of the Riva, and in the main square are not a fitting accompaniment. My better half pointed out a neon UNESCO sign above the medieval town gate (something that I note another reviewer commented on)- how much more inappropriate can you get? We avoided these spaces after dark so we're not unduly inconvenienced by them. The powers that be need to get a grip on this situation before it gets out of hand and completely spoils a unique and wonderful town.
