Recently had a fantastic stay at these apartments.
The rooms are clean and well laid out.
The position of the Apartments are on the edge of the water and perfectly placed.
The staff were fantastically friendly and helpful, even walking us to sites for trips we were doing when it was easier to do that then try to navigate Trogir.
The food was fantastic and breakfast by the water was a great way to start the day.

Villa Kaleta is a 5 room B&B about 50 meters off the water and just a great place with very helpful owners and awesome breakfast - you probably can't finish all of it. If you are going to Trogir this is the place to stay. The Hosts are great and the staff is wonderful. The Split airport is about 6 km to the north - Trogir is MUCH closer to this airport than Split. One hint on getting to the Kaleta - if you take a taxi then asked to be dropped off near the tower (on the water) and the Kaleta is down the promenade towards the center along the water by maybe 150 meters. Otherwise from the bus terminal, just outside the town (think very small town - you can walk around it in 10 minutes), walk across the bridge and walk outside the wall to the left about 250-300 meters. Either is much better than walking through Trogir with your bags - even wheeled ones as it is uneven and a lot of cobblestone to negotiate...

Room tip: 5 rooms - ask to be on 1st or 2nd floor - not the ground...just less foot traffic although after 10 pm it was quiet.

Villa Kaleta was our first place we stayed in Croatia and what a fabulous start to the holiday. The rooms are spacious and clean, right by the water and the restaurant, where you have breakfast each morning, has some of the best views in town. The hosts were wonderful and always willing to be of assistance in any way possible. I would definitely stay here again as it is a lovely apartment, perfect location and great service.

We absolutely LOVED staying at Villa Kaleta. Goran and his staff are incredibly helpful and wonderful hosts.

The B&B is close to the Trogir Port and Goran came to meet us there after speaking to our taxi driver. This is because no cars are allowed in the Old Town. The B&B is in Old Town Trogir and you feel like you are in a fairy tale land the minute you step outside. Everyone is so friendly. There are lovely shops and reataurants close to the B&B.

There is free WiFi and breakfast is included in the room rate. The breakfast is delicious and highly recommended.

The rooms are airconditioned, with lovely modern finishes and soft linen.

We will MOST DEFINITELY be back!

Fantastic room where every comfort has been thought of. We were treated extremely well, rooms clean, comfortable. Restaurant has lovely food and breakfast is a daily feast, no need to eat again until dinner. The staff are attentive and speak excellent English and really can't do enough for you. Our advice would be to buy some beach water shoes as all beaches are stony but great to swim in! Would definitely come back.
