“Lovely Stay Here”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2013

After reading several reviews, we chose to stay here for three nights in June. We were in the attic room which I would thoroughly recommend. It's worth spending the little bit extra. Lovely, big room and really nice to have the terrace. Ljiljana and her staff were all charming and Ljiljana always very helpful. As mentioned in other reviews, breakfast was always a treat. Great coffee too! Everything here is spotless. Easy to get to from Split airport on the local bus #37. Also easy to take a "tourist" bus into Split for a day trip. The tourist bus is more direct and takes you down near the harbour and old town. No hesitation in recommending a stay at Vanjaka B&B.

Room Tip: Would definitely recommend the attic room.

We stayed here for 3 nights in June and thought we'd treat ourselves to the Attic room.

The room was huge and very nicely decorated - the best part being the private terrace which overlooks the square. After a days sightseeing it was lovely to sit out with a drink and a book before going out to dinner.

Vanja and the rest of the staff are so friendly and breakfast was amazing - the staff just kept bringing more and more dishes out!

The location was great too, in the middle of the Trogir and right by the cathedral. We did get woken up by the bells ringing at odd times in the middle of the night but there are earplugs provided if it disturbs you too much.

The B&B also runs a restaurant which we tried out one night and it was one of the best meals of our 2 week holiday.

If you're coming with a car, the nearest free place to park is just over the bridge near Hotel Trogir Palace where you'll see lots of cars lined up at the waters edge.

My husband and 1 stayed for 1 night and I chose this place based on Tripadvisor reviews. We basically needed a place to stay before our flight out of Split airport.
What a great choice indeed.
Fabulous location, right in the middle of town, fresh food markets nearby and plenty of restaurants to choose from.
We stayed in the brown room with separate bathroom which was no problem at all as the bathroom was exclusively for us to use.
Wifi was quick and reliable.
Close to the bus station to get to Split airport.
Breakfast was great: pastries, bread, cheese, meats, eggs the way you like, juice, coffee/tea.
Friendly staff.
Cannot recommend this place enough.

decided to stay here having read other reviews on Trip Advisor, also opted for the attic room and the decor and facilities are superb, nice also to have the terrace although during our two night stay it was too hot to sit outside !!
Lilijana and the rest of that staff could not have been more helpful, breakfast was excellent and the location could not have been better.
hope to return to Trogir and would not hesitate in booking to stay at Vanjaka again

Room Tip: consider the attic room as mentioned above

We, a group of four people, shared the attic room in this little B&B in Trogir and can recommend it to the fullest. It is in the middle of the city center, close to restaurants and bars but even has its own restaurant, which can be a bit noisy a nights, but they stop around midnight and it is quiet if the windows are closed. The attic room was lovely furnished with a big terrace facing the roofs of the old town. Breakfast was lovely, and so was the staff, who helped with everything. As we could not find a laundry in Trogir, the owner offered to wash all our clothes (which were a lot) and was so nice with everything. We will definitely come back!

Very good location in the old town, very good value for money and a good breakfast served each day. Lilijana was an excellent and helpful host. It is well worth paying the extra money and booking the top floor room which has acres of space and a lovely balcony which catches both morning and evening sun.

We really enjoyed our stay in amazing Trogir and the location of this b&b is just perfect. We enjoyed hearing the church bells in the morning to wake up in time to enjoy the delicious breakfast. A great place to stay.
