We are couple from Bosnia and we just had excellent holidays at Hotel Mediteran. Rooms are new, modern and clean. Maybe bathroom need renovation, because pipes and shower bath are pretty old.
Food are various, and very, very tasty. Hotel environment is nice arranged, with many trees, flowers and walking paths. We didn't have any negative experiences with hotel or other stuffs.

Where do I begin...
I´ll start with the positive.. the resort itself looks beautiful.. it´s backing on the sea and has a beautiful landscape, but it was all overshadowed by the service we experienced.. My family is European but we live in North America now and all the staff had something to say about our ˝American˝ accents.. Not only were they all snarky, but I had the advantage of understanding Croatian and hearing things from staff that I wish I couldn´t because it was so uncalled for. The receptionists were of no help and the beauty center staff double booked myself, kicking me out when she had a more expensive client.
A relative asked a waitress where the coffee stand was in the restaurant area, to what she replied, ˝OPEN YOUR EYES˝! .. completely uncalled for...
As well, they offer a ˝choo-choo˝ train to downtown Poreč and we had been waiting for it for over an hour - once it had arrived it was full and I politely asked the train staff member what he can do to help us get downtown... I said that we had been waiting for one hour , to what he replied, ˝So What?˝ as if I was stupid.

All in all it was a great trip, but more of a self-service type of thing because the staff were of no help and management should seriously train their staff better.

The hotel is very nice. It's a 3 star hotel, but it's worth more. It seems to me that was rinovated not a long time ago.

The rooms are very beautiful and quite big. The y have an air-condition and SAT TV.

The hotel has a beautiful outside swimming pool and tennis courts just near by.

The food is very good and as much as you want....it's a self service hotel.

Th hotel is situated about 100 meters from the beach. The beach is somewhere rocky somewhere not, but the sea is very clean.
If you don't want to be on the sun you can be is the pine shade, which is great.

The hotel is on a very good position, because you can easily go walking to town Porec. It takes about 10 minutes. If you are lazy and if you don't want to walk, you can take a "train-bus" that drives very often.

It's a good hotel. Good proportion between price and quality.

went to porec with portland holidays, stayed at the hotel mediteran 13th to 20th may 2008, very good hotel, lovely well kept gardens surround the hotel and very clean inside.we paid app £34 to upgrade our room to pool and sea view it was well worth it. room a good size and great views.cannot fault the meals! (need to loose a few pounds now!) and wine ,beer with evening meal included in price.some food cooked fresh in front of you! drinks a little pricey in hotel bar and just a band played each evening. only 15 minute walk into pretty porec, which we enjoyed very much, nice cobbled streets etc, lovely walks each direction from the hotel,sea so clean.good restaurant above the diving club for lunch. we took boat trip to venice, well worth it, and it does not smell! about 2 1/2 hour crossing, you need passport and euro,s for there.so much to see! shame weather was cloudy! alot of tourists and expensive , but what a fantastic place. would go back there , also to porec, croatia is a beautiful unspoilt country...lets hope it stays that way!
