If at all possible, go there independently. Your entry fee includes free transport around this magnificent but large National Park. You can then plan to walk downhill past the sixteen cascades. If you go as part of a Group, you will find yourself walking uphill because that is the way Tour Groups are directed. They all looked very weary to us!!!

Amazing National Park. well worth the entrance fee (£11). Entrance no 1 has mini market, souvenir shop, and restaurant across the road.(Food good) Fee includes ferries across the lakes. Entrance No. 2 seemed more spread out, we didn't eat at the restaurant as the food looked particularly uninspiring.

We spent a good 8 hours just wondering around the wonderful boardwalks and hardly saw a soul, April is out of season, the waterfalls were full of water so they looked particularly impressive and the colours you see on all the pictures are real. I t really is that blue. The boardwalks are brilliant, and enable you to get so close to falls that would normally be inaccessible, and yet don't in any way spoil the naturalness of the park.

We can't recommend the park enough for a thoroughly rewarding day.
One of the most stunning places we have ever been.

We stayed at the Korana autocamp and got up really early in the morning. The whole campsite was still asleep, and we 'sneaked' away to the park. We were the first visitors to arrive and it was absolutely worth it. We had the place for ourselves and enjoyed the beauty and silence. By 2 'o clock in the afternoon, the place was overcrowded. But by then we had nearly finished our route so we wrapped up and left for Karlovac
