We selected this hotel to chill out for a week after a week touring throughout Croatia. Holiday booked through Holiday Options in the UK. September 2006
Rated 4 star. Small family run hotel only built within last few years Only one minor problem is that it ois situated on the main road from Split to Dubrovnik so can be noisy at times. However, with a by-pass under construction this will subside in the next year or so.
Very high standard of accommodation with excellent food. Usually good food and hotels don't go but this was a delightful exception. Breakafst (buffet) was superb and if you happen to want anything not supplied they would get it. The family and staff we very very helpful and would put themselves out to assist.
We planned to eat in local restaurants but after our experience on the tour previous week made us wary. Our experiments with 3 Makarskan restaurants recommended by Holiday Options rep. were Ok/good but Hotel Rosina was the best.
5 minute walk to the beach (pebbly) and promenade which was very busy and not to our liking. A further 10 minute walk brought us to the Marina. Lots of coffee bars and restaurants. Small interesting town alongside the marina. Plenty of walks possible but the weather was too hot (30oC) and humid for us at the time.
