We recently stayed at the Hotel Park with the help of prior reviews and found it to be excellent. The room and common parts of the hotel are new in appearance and modern design. Not trendy and ultra chic like the Adriana but also not going for that kind of market. All areas of the hotel are very clean.

All staff were friendly and happy to provide assistance in very good english.

Hotel location is up a few stairs which can be a bit of work if you have heavy luggage. But good as it separates you from the main harbor crowds.

Room size was large with a sitting area and separate bedroom. I believe all rooms face the harbor. (Photos are attached which shows the room and view of the harbor/outside dining area.) Free wireless internet provided in the room, you must get password from the front desk. There is also a PC in the lobby area you can use. Although we did not use them, a couple of beach towels were in the room as well.

We did not dine at the restaurant but it looked very nice with a view of the harbor. Breakfast was included with the room (190EUR equivalent per night) while not overly extensive, enough to start the day. Eggs and coffee are ordered from the waiter. Did not ask if they had other made to order options.

Hotel does not have a pool but who needs one when you have the clear waters of sea.

All in all a great place and we thought great value as well.

We spent 6 nights at the Park and it was one of the best places I have stayed at. Very smart, clean and central with very friendly staff. They are just putting the finishing touches to the bar and terrace so the only dissapointment was that we couldn't have breakfast on the terrace. This was due to open the following week. Hvar itself is a wonderfull place.

I went to Hvar to celebrate a friend's 50th birthday with 42 others. I had no idea what to expect. This hotel, booked by the birthday boy himself, is superb. With 13 apartment rooms, overlooking the gorgeous harbour, we filled the place! Everything is new,spotless and beautifully finished. The soft stone floor tiles are wonderful to walk barefoot on, and the under floor heating ( in April, it was a bit chilly in the evening) was an added luxury. The beds are huge and comfortable, the room facilities couldn't be beaten, and the staff are delightful, discreet and very chilled out. I'm not normally a large hotel type, but Hotel Park is well well worth revisiting. I will.The island itself is beautiful, and you can hop to other islands from there. I hope not too many people hear about this place, because crowds wouldn't do! I still have their photo business card in my purse to show to people. Great value, perfect for singles, couples and families.

This is a great property. We arrived in Hvar without any hotel reservations and happened upon this property after checking out the Riva (way too expensive for off season) and the Palace (way too tired). We couldn't have been happier with our choice. Indeed, everything in the room was brand spanking new including the a/c units, the SATV, DVD, TV etc. The staff was very accommodating and friendly, the location is central but up enough from the water to provide stunning views. The restaurant was not open yet so had to breakfast about a block away, this problem should be resolved shortly. It appeared that many of the hotels in Hvar are being renovated and the construction work is way behind schedule, this one is finished and superb. Suggest you book early for peak season as their rooms provide terrific space and value for the money and I would guess that with so many units out of service due to renovations, space will be in short supply in summer of 2007 in Hvar Town.
