This is a great property. We arrived in Hvar without any hotel reservations and happened upon this property after checking out the Riva (way too expensive for off season) and the Palace (way too tired). We couldn't have been happier with our choice. Indeed, everything in the room was brand spanking new including the a/c units, the SATV, DVD, TV etc. The staff was very accommodating and friendly, the location is central but up enough from the water to provide stunning views. The restaurant was not open yet so had to breakfast about a block away, this problem should be resolved shortly. It appeared that many of the hotels in Hvar are being renovated and the construction work is way behind schedule, this one is finished and superb. Suggest you book early for peak season as their rooms provide terrific space and value for the money and I would guess that with so many units out of service due to renovations, space will be in short supply in summer of 2007 in Hvar Town.

Hvar is a beautiful Island , that is similar to the French Rivera without the rip off and people posing . I stayed at Hvar Town in the Hotel Park , not only was the resort nice but the Hotel just added to what was a great experience , the appartments are of the highest standards with all mod cons and some fantastic views over the Harbour , if you are looking for picture postcard , this place is it. The attention to detail and pleasant staff ( Anna & Nadia were very helpful on places to go ) made the break all the more enjoyable. We went in Easter and although not all the bars and Restaurants were open , this is a nice time to go , height of the season might be difficult to obtain a place at your chosen Restaurant as the Town is Small in size but do not miss out on a trip to this lovely Island and stay at the Hotel Park to get the full benefit of what will be a fantastic holiday . Look to go soon before other people discover the Island and this great Hotel it will not remain undiscovered for long.

I found this hotel by chance whilst travelling the Adriatic coast in September 2006 just after it had opened.
It has to be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. It is privately owned and has a personal touch lacking in most of the larger chains.
There are only 13 rooms, virtually all of them suites with fantastic views of the harbour, satellite TV, CD & DVD players, safe, air-con and all of the usual extras you would expect from a top quality establishment.
There are two very friendly and helpful girls who run the hotel, Anna & Nadia. Nothing is too much trouble for them.
I returned again in April 2007 to celebrate my 50th birthday with a few friends and thanks to Anna & Nadia everything was superb.
