We have just returned from a week at the hotel Park. Our room-no 31- was on the top floor with probably the best view in town over the harbour and placa. It has a separate living room, flat screeen TV,enormous bathroom with massage bath and even a cross trainer overlooking the harbour. The only downside is the 3 flights of stairs -no lift - to keep you fit.
The best part was the free half board on offer in Sept and Oct for stays over 5 nights- anything from the extensive a la carte menu except the lobster was on offer. We did eat out a couple of times but there was nothing better in Hvar we found and the terrace restaurant is charming
Finally, arranging the stay and transfers was all done by email with Anna , one of the team there who was very helpful and efficient

We spent two nights at the hotel park hvar. The website photos don't really do the hotel justice. It is well located right in the thick of it, just one row back from the harbour side.

Although it is close to the centre which is packed with people at night it is not noisy and once inside the hotel it is calm and relaxing. The rooms are of a high standard and very spacious.

The breakfast terrace is beautiful. The staff are lovely and couldnt have been more friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel and will be back to stay there again soon.

I just returned from 5 night stay, and I was rather disappointed.
My room (#2) was rigt in front of the reception door, and was rather noisy. The service is not 4 star: I had to ask for the beach towels promised on the hotel website, for the soap and the toiletries (made in china!), and for coat-hangers.
The hotel is almost brand new but the rooms have no personality: as the Beautiful South sung, "this could be Rotterdam or anywhere, Liverpool or Rome..."
The best thing of the hotel is the restaurant, on a quiet terrace over the port: since in august the restaurants in Hvar are very busy and you have to espect almost an hour before to take a seat, the most intelligent thing is to have diner in the hotel restaurant. Try also the restaurant of the Adriana, overlooking the port and the old town of Hvar: great atmosphere, food and service.

We recently stayed at the Hotel Park with the help of prior reviews and found it to be excellent. The room and common parts of the hotel are new in appearance and modern design. Not trendy and ultra chic like the Adriana but also not going for that kind of market. All areas of the hotel are very clean.

All staff were friendly and happy to provide assistance in very good english.

Hotel location is up a few stairs which can be a bit of work if you have heavy luggage. But good as it separates you from the main harbor crowds.

Room size was large with a sitting area and separate bedroom. I believe all rooms face the harbor. (Photos are attached which shows the room and view of the harbor/outside dining area.) Free wireless internet provided in the room, you must get password from the front desk. There is also a PC in the lobby area you can use. Although we did not use them, a couple of beach towels were in the room as well.

We did not dine at the restaurant but it looked very nice with a view of the harbor. Breakfast was included with the room (190EUR equivalent per night) while not overly extensive, enough to start the day. Eggs and coffee are ordered from the waiter. Did not ask if they had other made to order options.

Hotel does not have a pool but who needs one when you have the clear waters of sea.

All in all a great place and we thought great value as well.
