“Not bad..”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013

The location of the hotel is very appropriate just in the old town. Also the restaurant of the hotel is looking at the sea, good for a breakfast. Not a strong breakfast ofcourse. However since location is evry popular, There is too much noise until the early hours of the morning. The hotel is very very old, however the accomodation in all Dalmatia is almost like that I think. Moreover not very clean hotel. Just might be a good choice for the location, nothing more. Hotel is in the old town and since then very far away from the parking places. Tip: the most popular bars are just 1 min walk away from the hotel. There is no A.C in the rooms-watch out. there is also a small puclic beach in front of the hotel.

The hotel is well located, that's the only positive point. When we arrived they took 1 hour just to find our reservation. The room has no air conditioning and is extremely hot, which forces you to keep door and window opened, bringing mosquitos, clarity and noise to the inside. Bathroom is quite small and the shower doesn't work well. Breakfast is medium. Extra bed is a one person sofa that comes into a sort of bed. I don't recommend. Location is essential, but it's alright if you stay somewhere until Amfora Bay.

Arriveing everyting seemed charming and just at the spot. After entering we soon understood that it was just the facade and the wiev that was nice.
The hotel is really "tiered"/run down, and in July without aircondition it is like a an oven. We had no sleep whatsoever when we stayd here.
Because we had to have the windows/door open to get some air, it became also very noisy dureing the whole night.
Full of mosquito bites with now possibility to sleep we entered the breakfast at 7 as first guests. We were not impressed here either. The juice were more water than juice, the milk smelled and nothing els seemed fresh either.

We arrived on the Island Hvar at 7pm and the hotel gates were shut and padlocked. All the windows and shutters were closed and there was nobody around. After confirming with some locals that the hotel is really shut, we proceeded to find alternative accommodation. Do not book this hotel, it is closed.

This hotel offers a good silent refuge just around the corner from the centre – in about 200 m distance to the promenade. It is situated directly on the beach, and as special feature – only 100 m to the pebble beach with easy access to the water.
The rooms are nice, especially the ones with sea view. The hotel is clean and best choice for families or young people. I was reading the reviews and found out that all guests of Hvar hotels book the so-called budget hotels and expect a 5* experience.

Good hotel, unbelievable location, scrumptious breakfast and pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. Most rooms come with a sea view, and you are literally a stones throw from the sparkling blue ocean.

The breakfast is really good with a selection of bread & jams, cold meats, yoghurt, fruit, scrambled eggs & bacon and cake. You eat outside on the terrace right right next to the sea, it is a glorious place to while away an hour eating your way through four courses of breakfast!

Location is incredible, just two minute walk from main town square, 30 second stroll to a small cove beach and an area you can hire boats and bikes from.

Room Tip: Choose to stay in the main hotel, rather than beach annex as I heard it is nicer.

Had the misfortune of staying at this hotel Aug 17th. I have never stayed at a hotel this terrible before. No air conditioning-not even a fan (temp was 40C). No TV(although don't really care about that). Bathroom basic, no hair dryer. Have to admit, it does have great views from balcony, but I'm sure the other hotels in that strip do as well. Church in cove rings their bells starting at 6am! Echoes through the cove. Very noisy-at least in summer. People hooting and hollering literally all night long. Save your money(not a cheap hotel either!)
