Me and my girlfriend were in Hvar for 7 days. I located Dujmovic apartments on TripAdvisor and after that I contacted Ana. We exchanged couple of e-mails and after that I transfered money to reserve one of the apartments.When we got there I called Ana and she waited for us in Hvar. The apartment was really good for the price. Bedroom, bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. It also had a balcony with sea view. Great. I can only have good words for Hvar and people of Hvar. We really had amazing 7 days and I wish we had time for more. Ante and Ana are great hosts and and very communicative and helpful.
We would definitely go back over there.

If there is one thing that is important to me on a sun and sea holiday it is being able to have a warm shower. This is not always a given in appartments but at ana's it was ideal. Hot water enough for two vain girls! The accom. is spacious and clean. As previous writers have put there is no kettle but a pan suffices and with a little shop up the road I was able to have my morning cup of tea. There is a TV with world news for the Eglish traveller and also german tv stations. I felt very safe there and didnt worry about my valuables despite there being no safe (ana is around or her husband most of the time)
The accom is about 10 mins walk from town but really handy for the beach and the beach bar Hula Hula and at Amfora which has a 5pm -7pm DJ. So if you arrive and hear poounding music dont worry it does not last beyond 730 and actually it was nice to hear a bit of life. If you stay be sure to check out the beach chairs round near Hotel Croatia.. it gets less busy there than at the Amfora beach.

Booked with Ana after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor. Stayed for a whole week. My thoughts do echo the general consensus of feedback. If you want reasonably priced self catering accomodation in Hvar, this place is great. Be prepared for a short stroll up some rather steep steps (numerous routes)! Our apparentment was BASIC. If you want something with a bit of wow factor and don't want a mere humble abode this may not be the best for you. I did say to Ana when I left that a bucket to wash swimwear and perhaps some bigger glassware (the drinking glasses were like shot glasses!) would make life a lot easier. Cleaning utensils generally could have been better. But then it's a basic flat so I can understand why there isn't much clutter. Put it this way, this place is awesome in terms of a decent roof over your head which is great value compared to a hotel. And you can use the extra pennies to do luxury things on your stay like eat in nice restuarants, charter your own boat/ yacht and buy treats for yourself and family. Ana is very helpful and her home made olive oil (which she sells along with her herb and cherry brandy) was excellent.

We cannot say anything but the best about Anna's place, we stayed there for 2 nights, June 8 - 10, 2007. We had 6 people, so we had the downstairs 3 room and two bathroom, and a kitchen and a front patio right by the vineyards. It was amazing! We cooked in the kitchen and had dinner on the patio and then went to party in Hvar! Anna's home made cognac and wine definitely helped with that :) The main Hvar center is a short 5 min walk and so is the castle. The Hvar center itself is tiny, so everything is close. You also get a great sea view from Anna's.

She goes out of her way to help you, she offered to pick us up and then got her friend, a taxi driver, to give us a very discounted lift to her place.

We love her place and the value is unbeatable. Everything is very clean, but more towels and some basic things like salt and pepper in the kitchen would help. But the place is just heaven, especially for a large group. We were very sorry we stayed only 2 nights.

We will be back and recommend to anyone else to stay here. Also suggest you rent a boat for a day when in Hvar.
