“Loved it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2012

I was reading the rewiews on Trip Advisor before I came in this hotel, and i must say that I was surprised. Some of the reviews were about small rooms, but room was amazing. The room view is beautiful and it was very clean. The hotel is very safe, and has a perfest location, because veerything is close here - the beaches, the town, the restaurants and the clubs. The pool area was beautiful, but tehre were a few insects in the afternoon, what is logical, because of the water. We didn` t eat at hotel, so I can´t share my experience here, but the restaurants in the town are all so cute, with amazing fish dishes. The Hvar is totally place to go, there is so much to see and feel in this town. The prices a little bit higher than in rest of Croatia, but the feeling is amazing!

Room Tip: Any room towards the sea! The view is amazing :))

“Very nice property, great location, above average service!”
My darling and I just spent our anniversary weekend at the Amfora. We
completely enjoyed our stay, even though there were a few glitches
(which the staff immediately responded to). The room was beautifully
decorated and comfortable, but a little bit smaller than we expected.
We booked the room with a nice balcony overlooking the pool area and
sea. The bell staff, front desk personnel, and housekeeping were
wonderful...taking care of our every need. The restaurant choices are
a bit limited for a resort this size, but still nice. Relaxing at the
pools was great. When we got tired of being around all the children,
we would go up to the restaurant and enjoy our coffee and snacks with
a with a stunning view at the sea and Pakleni islands, and feel calm
and secluded. All-in-all, it was a very nice experience and we hope
to visit again soon!

Room Tip: Would definitely ask for a room with a balcony. The view is rather nice.

Stayed here for 3 nights and overall it was very pleasant.
The rooms were a little small, but very clean and bright, and the balcony gave a great view over the pool. The room did lack a bottle opener/corkscrew (even though there were bottles in the minibar) and the bathroom flooded every time the shower was used, due to the shower being over the bath and the screens not "tight". Everything else was very good.
We only had the buffet breakfast and have only positive things to say about it, except the coffee is not good, but that might be my fetish for great coffee! I suggest having a bespoke omelette made, as these were delicious.
The pool area was more than adequate, with a good service provided for drinks, etc.
It's about a 5 to 8 min walk to the Hvar town centre, which is pleasant enough as you walk around at the water's edge. We would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed a recent boys weekend at this lovely hotel. Clean, modern & very friendly staff who were attentive throughout our stay. Beautiful views of the surrounding islands & easy walk to the local harbour which is very picturesque with excellent restaurants & nightlife. The rooms are ultra modern, not particularly spacious but perfectly adaquate & very clean. Reception area & roof terrace are great for an early evening drink - for those who like a more lively end to the day hit the bar built into the rocks with some top notch music & DJ's - unbelievable sun set - worth the visit alone. Going back next year with the wife!!

Room Tip: Make sure you ask for sea view - def worth paying a little extra.

This is a large hotel just 10 minutes stroll to the centre of town. The walk is lovely and you can take in the sites of the sea. We found all the staff very helpful. The room was very clean and was cleaned to a high standard every day. The pool area was big and loads of sunbeds to choose from. We don't have a bad word to say about this hotel.

The room was modern, pleasant and clean, although a little small, but with lots of cupboard space. The hotel is in a good location, less than a 10 minute walk to Hvar town. Food was good - good selection at breakfast, the staff were helpful and the pool was great.
Negatives: The bathroom kept flooding every time we took showers and the gym wasn't great.

This place was nice all in all! The room was pristine and beautifully air conditioned. The bed was very comfortable and staff very accomadating to our requests. The pool has magnificent views over Pakleni islands and the restaurant has good food, but I skiped the breakfast usually.I had a treatment in the Spa and the staff were wonderful, also, teh pool area is relaxing, just, tehre were a lot of kids, of courese what usually doesn't bother me, but I wanted to relax completely. I had issues with insect bites during my stay and the spa staff recommended a treatment and were very careful. All in all, very nice accomodation and weekend on Hvar. Hope to come on vacation, not only on business trip.
