It is a beautiful location, on the top of the summer garden of the historical house that is actually under the protection of UNESCO. Keep in mind there is only and outdoor sitting. The staff is very attentive and they will cook to order but you have to arrange the menu in advance. The food is fresh and the chefs are masters in blending ingredients that will lead you to foodgazm. Someone in the kitchen really knows how to season the food in this place. Highly recommend. I've been there three times and will go again next time I am on Hvar.
I don't know about you're preferences but no matter the fact I was on Hvar and I supposed to eat fish I decided for meat the first night. I took beef sirloin medium rare with chanterelle mushrooms, potato cream, sautéed green beans, demi-glace and let me tell you this was the best prepared steak I ever had. For appetizers I had porto and brandy marinated Foie gras, berry coulis, caramelized grapes, homemade brioche, toasted almonds- also very delicious. High recommendation for any of Croatian red wines there. The list is short, but carefully picked.
If you have any room for desserts take the chooice of three - Sun, Sand and the Sea. They are all great, but my top fest for senses was The Sea - vanilla ice cream, melon, lemon curd, olive oil biscuit, basil crème anglaise, caramelized hazelnut - D-licius!
