We were met at the airport by Anton as arranged and found our apartment to be exactly as described - immaculately clean and well equipped. We had clean towels and sheets regularly and the apartment was cleaned most days. There is a small but well stocked supermarket within 2 minutes walk and excellent bus service with the stop right by the apartments. Quite a steep climb down to Cavtat but that is true for most of Crotia - wherever you walk there are steps to negotiate! I would certainly stay here again and found Natasha and Anton to be most honest, helpful and pleasant.

We found this place on TripAdvisor and it was wonderful! We are independent travelers and it was nice to find a place that was roomy and convenient for us. Plus we had a stocked mini kitchen so we were able to have snacks and actually use the stove if we wanted to.

Natasha and Antun are wonderful hosts. They picked us up at the airport and showed us what to do nearby and how to get places.

Apartments Bacan is a wonderful find for a relaxing trip on the Dalmatian coast!!!

We have just returned from a weeks stay at these apartments. They are so modern and clean. An absolute credit to the lovely owners Anton and Natasha. Anton was waiting for us at the airport and drove us the 10 mins to the apartments.
As written previously, we would have liked a toaster as there is no grill. apart from that I cannot find anything negative to say.
The apartments are at the top of a very steep and windy road however there is a short cut down quite a lot of steps to the town. Buses to Cavtat and Dubrovnik stop directly outside the Bacans.
We absoultely loved Cavtat..it is the most breathtaking place. So pretty and clean.
We ate out every night. Our favourite restaurant was Ivan. At the other places we ate the soup was like water but here we enjoyed cream of celery and tomato soup and the steak and turkey was delicious. Fab staff too.
We also had a very good meal at Dalmacia right on the harbour.
Dubrovnik is fantastic. I would recommend catching the boat from Cavtat as it takes you right into the harbour at the entrance to the old town. We caught the bus and if you forget to ask the driver to call out your stop you end up 2 km away. However if you do get off at the correct stop for the old town you have hundreds of steps to go down. coming back on the bus is tricky too. To save all those steps when going back for the bus(number 10) the best way is to leave the old town by the Ploce entrance..cross the road..walk left in front of the mexican restaurant(which is fab) and take two rights. The bus stop is opp a lovely little bakery.
We will def return to Cavtat and possibly to the Bacan apartments.

We have just returned from Cavtat , where we stayed at the Bacan apartments . Natasha and Antun , who own the place , are really nice people . They will pick you up from the airport , which is a welcome service . The apartments are very clean and tidy , with the towels being changed more often than a lot of 5 star hotels . The bus to Dubrovnik stops outside the apartments , but be careful when you get to Dubrovnik as unless you keep an eye out for the Old Town , the bus ends up at the terminal , which is about 2km away . We had a small crisis when my wifes' hairdryer broke , but when we asked Natasha where we could buy another one from , she produced a spare from a cupboard and lent it to us . The only thing that would have made our stay there better would have been a Toaster ( sad isn't it ? ) . While you are in Cavtat go to the Caffe Zino and have the Cappucino , it really is one of the best . We are already planning to go and stay at Bacan again and would be happy to recommend it .
