My wife and I have just returned from our holiday at this hotel. The location is as stated right on the beach, its a short stroll to the town of Cavtat, takes about 15mins with restaurants, bars and ice cream parlours on route. Once there the walk is well worth it. There are many restaurants by the harbour . Take the steps leading up to the hotel Croatia to view the town and harbour from the hotel bar. A trip to Dubrovnik is a must, cost by boat is 80 Kunar return each, the walk around the wall is 50 Kunar each. The beach at Cavtat is small and pebbly, sun beds cost 20 Kunar each all day. Beach shoes are a must, once in the sea its sand. The hotel has a fantastic large swimming pool with lots of sun beds (no charge) room has fridge (not very cold) and a free of charge safe. Rooms are large, all have sea views. We stayed in 'A' block with the sun on the balcony in the evening, 'B' block has sun on balcony in morning. There's plenty of choice at meals, food very good. All in all a fantastic holiday, we will return one day before it is spoilt by to many tourists. This resort in our opinion would not suit people with walking difficuties, our ages are in our 50's.and very fit. One last comment the sea is very warm. Croatian poeple are very friendly and speak good English.
