Just back from a really lovely week at the Albatros in Cavtat. Cavtat is the most beatuiful little town with lovely rocky coves to jump into the sea from, lots of nice restaurants, and most amazing views. The Albatros is about a pleasant 15 minute walk from the centre. Like most of the big hotels in the area it is not the most pleasing on the eye, but its nice inside and the rooms are decent and clean. Dodgy entertainment in the evening wasnt our cup of tea so after 2 nights we asked to be moved rooms (which they did no problem at all) from the centre to the far side of Block B, here we could sit in the peace and quiet on our balcony and watch the beautiful sunset.
The food wasnt amazing, but was good enough for us to eat in 4 out of the 7 nights we were there, and was lovely sitting on the terrace and enjoying the views. The other nights there were more than enough choices for eating out - and not spending a ridiculous amount of money. We would espcially recommend the Pacific restaurant in the centre of Cavtat where the waiter, food and value for money was brilliant!
