Good luck finding this place but once you do you may realize that you're staying at the best hotel in Old Town Lijiang. The town is a labyrinth. Everytime we left the hotel we had trouble finding our way back. And I'm good with directions and finding my way.
The breakfast was good. The room was a little small, as is the hotel on a whole, but still a reasonable value. As with just about any place in China, very little English is spoken at this hotel. It is a benefit to know some Mandarin (especially to ask directions).
Regarding Lijiang in general, this place is full of Chinese tourists. At night, when the old town looks its best, the place turns into a raucous party with loud music and nightclubs. It feels like you're on spring break with the Chinese. We visited in the middle of summer. Therefore I don't recommend this hotel for older folks. It seems like a good spot for young backpackers with a little bigger budget.
