This hotel is owned by the national park administration. It is a wonderful complex, has great rooms, great views. Why they don't advertise or even try I don't know! The only down side to this place is that when you first turn onto their road it is not a very nice area until you make a big right turn up the mountain, after that it’s beautiful! Another disadvantage is that for some reason they only turn on the hot water in the evenings. Although the staff does not speak any English, they will try their very, very best to understand you and when all else fails, they will use their cell phone to call someone who does…a very good touch indeed! (we had our "Me No Speak" book and it proved very helpful in this region of China) We were very happy with our stay there and the cost was indeed very, very reasonable. At that particular time the Sheraton quoted us over US$350 and we paid only US$40 for our large, clean, mountain retreat….:>) Breakfast was delish too!
