Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in the second half of October- still peak season in Jiuzhaigou. It was the most expensive hotel of our trip, at 880 for a double room (on ctrip, included Chinese breakfast). It is walking distance from the busstation when arriving from Chengdu (when getting off the bus, walk (back) towards the park entrance (about 10 mins) and just before the park entrance go left and walk to the end of the street. Oddly enough, hotel is marked Jiuzhaigou Grand (or Crand) Hotel, not Guest Tower hotel).
The location next to the park entrance is excellent, buy your tickets for the park the night before to save time standing in line in the morning. Double rooms are spacious, but the bathrooms are so so. Shower was nice and hot, but bathroom was in dire need of an upgrade, stained etc. Rooms were pretty chilly (as was the lobby), but the electric blankets helped. Downside of being close to the park is that you have to walk a bit to get to restaurants in town. We had no energy for that after the park, so ate in the hotel restaurant, which was fine but no picture menu available so bring your guide book with list of dishes if you speak no Chinese (about 150 Rmb for the 3 of us).
Wifi available in the lobby.
Given the expensive "international" hotels in Jiuzhaigou, this was ok for me.
