My family and I just returned from Birmingham AL. We enjoyed our stay at the Baymont Inn very much. The staff was very helpful and polite. We recived maps and directions to everything we wanted to do. The breakfast was plentiful and great! My children loved the homemade waffles. We will go back.

There was dust on furniture....seemed not to be dusted in weeks. On top of the armoire there was a bunch of coins that I dared not touch (dust covered). Sink and bathroom were clean but shower was very very cramped. Room was cramped with furniture. While searching for an outlet I found that behind the furniture it looked like nothing had been vacuumed in ages. There was even an old sock behind the headboard! Even more disgusting was the fact that the bed linens seemed to be stored in large uncovered bins OUTSIDE the maintenance room. This was right next to the soda machine.

Room was very dank from no a/c when we got there. Baymont is off my list of places to stay anywhere. Stayed for one night and moved to a much nicer motel.

Clean, comfortable & quiet. Breakfast was what you would expect from Hampton Inn. Service was prompt and polite. The room was a little narrow and getting to the bathroom was tricky in the middle of the night. The location was good - on a major throughfare and adjacent to an interstate.
