It felt like a night at the Bates Motel! Traveling alone, I found Days to be a "somewhat" reputable business/name and pulled off to get a few hours sleep. The price was ok. $75.00. The lobby smelled and looked dingy, which should have been my first warning sign. Maybe it should've been the hords of "unique" looking people who hung out around the floors. Only to get in the room and have it smell. The sheets had stains on them and a shoe print was on one of my pillow cases. Though the bathtub looked clean, the bathroom was very undesireable.
The towels were dingy and the floors looked half swept. I slept in my clothes and jacket to keep my skin from touching the bed sheets and threw the comforter on the floor. I also slept with the lights and tv on. There were beverage spills on the desk table and the curtains were dirty. The air conditioning unit cut on and off all night, but hey, they had HBO and free wi-fi so go figure. I made the mistake and left my cosmetic bag at check out and i guess I shouldn't ask because it may have been stolen by now. A very adventurous stay to say the least. Find a truck stop and sleep in your car!
