“Nice!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2014

Got to visit but decide it not to go up as it was a cloudy cold day. But the grounds are nice. Wish there was an option to see the small museum without going or paying to go up the tower.

“Need to see at least once”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2014

Vulcan Park and Museum was renovated a few years ago and the renovation was very well done. If you are from out of town or if you live in the area and have out of town guests, this is a good landmark to show them. The view at the top of Vulcan is stunning. On a clear day, you can see for several miles. You are looking down into Jones Valley (The valley the city of Birmingham was built). At night, the city is all lit up and its a very nice view.

“Part of history”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2014

Stopping by Vulcan is a must for visitors to the Magic City. The park offers a nice place for a picnic and a walk. Climb to the top of Vulcan or take the elevator, but make sure you go to the top and get a wonderful view of the city. Take your camera because you will want to take photos overlooking the city. While you are at the park don't forget to visit the museum and learn some history of the mining in Birmingham. Well worth the trip.

“Excellent Mountain Top View of BHAM”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2014

Lots of city history detailed here. A towering statue you can pay to rise above the city even further.
Come check it out.

“A Birmingham must see”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2014

As a resident of Birmingham, this is one of the places I take visitors. The park is attractive and the views of the city from the park and from the observation deck are beautiful. The park is also a good venue for events.
