I ate at this property today, and I chose an off-time (around 1:30 P.M. on a weekday). This is an upscale sports bar, and it gets extra points for service. The wait staff was attentive and informative. I started with the Gin & Tonic ($12.00 - but nothing special). The main course was the signature dish lobster roll ($18.00). It was highly recommended by the most recent issue of Birmingham magazine. It came with slaw and chips, and l recommend the same. I finished off the meal with a margarita ($10.00).The bill was pricey ($46.00 for lunch), but I would try this property again. I inquired as to the wait staff, as to the lack of patrons (the property had less than a dozen patrons). I was informed that, at night, it could be crowded and loud. I concur with previous postings that your experience could depend upon the quality of wait staff.

Thank you for commenting your lunch experience at Todd English P.U.B. We appreciate you taking the time to share. Hopefully, we'll get a chance to see you at night sometime. We do have live music on Tuesday & Wednesday evenings :-)
