O.k. Where do i start! First let me say that the images that they portay on the internet are not even the hotel in Birmingham. but i am sure they look at it like once you are there what does it matter anyway. when we arrived the front desk staff was not very friendly, except one lady with curly blond hair. but other than that EVERYONE was so ugly, it was almost like they did not want to be bothered by us. we tried to ask questions and were shrugged off by everyone but that one lady who's name escapes me. Now as for the rooms...... DISGUSTING, NASTY, HORRIBLE, there were Roaches, Nats and Spiders!!!! Hair in the sheets, sinks on the counters, Embeded in the carpets... MOLD EVERYWHERE!!! in the floor on the bathroom, behind the toilet, in the refridgerator. Oh and there was somekind of filth that was all over the walls, it almost looked like.. well i am not going to say what it looked like. but it was sure not just your everyday dirt, I'll tell you that! and when we asked for someone to come up and maybe clean it up we were told that the house keepers were on break and would not come until the next day because they had TOO MANY ROOMS TO CLEAN ALREADY. On our trips to our room carrying our luggage we were propositioned not one, not two, but three different times twice for Drugs and once for Sex. keep in mind my 12 year old niece was with me, you can only imagine the horror. But here is the kicker Folks.... are you ready... when i went down to tell the front desk staff, I was first told that they had problems in the past but had gotton rid of it and that i must be mistaken. Which that only caused me to come unglued at wich time they told me that it happens all the time as they laughed !!!! there excact words were (I kid you not) "just go up the far right flight of stairs on the front of the building look around the corner and then when you don't see anyone then go " ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME !!! So when i asked for my money back they told me that i would not get my money back for that night because they would not be able to sell that room and our rate would go from $38.99 up to $64.99 because we were not staying a full week. we were not even in the room a full 2 hours ( and that is pushing it ) and it was 3:30 on a Friday. ( i am sure there were plenty of prostitues and crack heads lining up outside to snatch that room up. but i guess, what's a few dolloars if we are able to make it out of there ALIVE. MORAL OF THIS STORY STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM SUNSUITES IN BIRMINHGAM !!!! YOU MIGHT NOT MAKE IT OUT ALIVE ! AND IF YOU DO I AM SURE WHAT EVER FUNK IS IN THE ROOM WILL KILL YOU IN A FEW DAYS ANYWAY!!
