Bamboo house was a great stay for our family. Super folks. Breakfast and dinner available in house. Very good price for time of year we were there. No elevators. 5 stories. If you travel light this an excellent place in the city and if area a hiker this hotel is also perfect for you.

I have bee n to over 20 different hotels in china. What all of them have in common is that see ice from staff was pretty much nonexistent. I would be lucky if they can speak few words do English. Forget about getting any helpful info. Well, bamboo house staff was anything but. All 3 ladies that worked the front desk were awesome. Great command of English, knowledgeable, and always helpful. They helped me book tickets, transport, and even walked me to the light show and saw me off to my van pick up when I left. The staff here should be the envy of every hotel in china. Can't go wrong here!

We arrived on Saturday 2nd June and had a wonderful 6 days stay at the Bamboo House.... The staff could not have been more helpful.... Full of smiles and very useful information for our stay...
The rooms were out of this world ....The beds very comfortable too... All the rooms had varying size Jacuzzi's depending on price paid... The food was excellent, with full menu
We booked most of our trips through the hotel for convenience.... The main area of Yangshuo is not to far away but far enough so you can't hear it....
Will certainly stay here again when we go back....

Very central hotel with excellent value rooms. The beds were so comfortable and the bathroom had bath, shower and western toilet. Plenty of hot water and clean towels. Loved the room decor and the little balcony. Very helpful staff booked trips and transport for us. The breakfast menu had fresh squeezed juice and homemade bread with yoghurt and muesli. A very comfortable, clean and quiet hotel where speaking English only was not a barrier at all.
